Mostly Monotron (yep, that little thing I'm holding up in front of my face). Vocal, clarinet, soprano recorder, and acoustic guitar. The percussion is also Monotron.

A little four-bar, 21-second joke. It's all woodwinds and a tiny bit of sampled junk percussion.
Mr. Schaum was the band teacher when I was in elementary school. Hmmm, or was it Mr. Schram? I don't recall now.
@oldrottenhead:
You can DO the bump, but I would imagine that this is not the popular song to which to do it. I'd suggest pressing the heart-with-the-little-green-plus-sign button (as did I). And listen 50 times. Yup, that ought to do it. :)
Well, I play this in Fokker 7-limit Just Intonation on the piano and I didn't attempt to try to sing as high as Robert. So that makes the vocals hard to nail right there. And I played it over many times the past 3 days and my voice got worn out…
Nobody can follow Plant, especially on this one, so why even try? I ought to dare my local classic rock station to play this version and tell them I'll stop listening if they won't do it. Heh heh. That'll fix 'em, won't it?
I dig the improv at the end; it makes me think that perhaps I should do my own "New Age" style cover of Stairway. Hmmm.
Here's the Who classic Regged a little.....I was practising this at full volume then realised the window was open so a bit of an impromptu concert going on in the street which would have sounded ok for the main but i'm not so sure the backing…
This is really a true story.
No, really...
And our holiday gift to you & your friends. (Feel free to download it and share it with anyone who you think might enjoy it.)
Oh... by the way... acl is finally waking from a very deep slumber…
I just got Logic Pro X today. This track is the result of my efforts to learn how to use it. It's also the first time I've gotten the guitar and bass out of the closet since I recorded 8-Bit Time Machine.
Very nice. I quite enjoy the progression of moods in this track. It begins sounding as if it's a balls-out rock anthem. I kept waiting for the screamy vocal which never appeared and instead the tune rewarded me with the nice electric piano part brought to the fore. :)
More like a cover of the bauhaus cover of Bowie's song.
Recorded last night in under two hours from starting programming the drums to posting. Recorded for songcrafters.org's Bowie Fest.
Your mention of Bauhaus covering this sent me to YouTube to find a scary young shirtless Peter Murphy singing this. Now that took five seconds off my life, I tell ya.
Um, never mind. Nice cover.
Come as you are, as you were,
As I want you to be
As a friend, as a friend, ‘cause I want you with me.
Take your time, but hurry up
The choice is yours, don't be late.
Take a rest, as a friend, for a warm memoria

I threw this one together tonite/early am...yawnnnnn. Not an exact replica but always a tribute to Jimi's music. I was originally turned on to do this by some new free vst effects I found on the net. A cool fuzz face vst that is very realistic…
Having more fun with Hendrix. I tried to stay true to the original as far as using no overdubs. Just one guitar, bass, drum and vocal track. Kind of used a mix approach and used a bit from the record and a bit from his live performance in Winterland…
My first thought, honestly, was, oh boy, someone's messing with Jimi again . . . then I pressed play. This one is done with reverence, my friends. Excellent cover. Dig.
" "Jabberwocky"

All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

cool sounds here. Like flute/synth/perc mix!
The vocal kinda has a Bowie feel to it. This IS my favorite track. w;-)
What a great vocal! w;-)
Very 60's soundtrack for a movie w;-)
Love this...especially the percussion that you added! Very fine! w;-)
You had me from the first bar! Excellent! w;-)
Very cool sounds you got going on.
My bassist/friend Harv got one of those. They're so much fun for making noise.m
I've heard the rest of this CD and this is only the tip of a very, very, lovely, sonic iceberg!
Ah, thank you kindly. :)
This track is radically different from my others; please don't make it the only one you check out!
Loving this....... excellent

Creepy. o.O But I like it. :)

:) Nice!
Hey, this sounds like The Who, Reg. Oh slap my face with a pickle! It IS The Who. It's called a cover. Silly me. Nice "Regging." :)
Ouch. I bumped my head against my monitor while bobbing it in time to the opening riff.
Oh, hahahaha! Genius. ". . . complete with sound effects . . ."
Like the crunchy drums. Box or samples? Also dig the LFO-modulated filter cutoff bass. (At least that's what I think it is!)
Catchy!

Interesting take on a classic Zep chestnut. :)

Heh heh. Great "misheard" lyrics. Of course, I always insisted upon mishearing "memoria" as "mammary, uh!" ;)
Hilarious.
Awesome lyrics. I need to give this another listen soon!
I really like the bit about 1:50. The vocal reminds me a bit of Bowie and early Gabriel.
Ya had me with the first lick. Nice. I love this song and this is a great cover of it. :)

Nice nouveau-psychedelic dub, a suitable accompaniment to this strange little poem I've always loved. :)
@slugg: Heh heh. I see what do did there. Thanks for listening!
