This is a pretty simple tune. Its been sitting around for a while because I kept thinking that I was going to add more to it or change it up a bit. That never happened, so here it is. Any suggestions or comments appreciated. :)

Chorus is NSFW. Inspired by responses to one of my Facebook status updates requesting suggestions for song ideas. I incorporated all of the ideas offered. Took less than 2 hours, start to finish, to write and record. I really like the synth melodies…
Melodic, peaceful, and trance-inducing instrumental. Used a synth clav as the underlying thematic instrument, then layered a few other things on top. The "guitar" counter-melody at the end is me playing a bass in the upper registers.

This odd time signature tune was recorded on September 13, 1991, on a 4-track cassette tape. I imported it into Logic Studio, tweaked the effects and adjusted the levels, and here it is. Instrumentation used: an Alesis HR-16 drum machine, bass…
Another collaboration between me and guitarist Kerry Hoke. Kerry provided me with four guitar loops. I arranged the loops, added some effects, played a sampled upright bass, programmed some drums, and blended it all together.

wow...the quality of sound is amazing for coming from a 4 track cassette tape made over what is it....18 or 19 years ago? . Great work. I don't think I'd have the nerve to copy over the stuff I recorded through old headphones while playing an upright piano from long ago. lol. Thanks for the upload.

Sorry About The Quality of the recording on this one...
A Friend of Mine (64Guitars From Songcrafters. Org ) challenged me to write a song about a subject (a Secret....Lol)....
This was finished 45 mins Later...
Will be Good for me on Open…
My first attempt at doing a songfight (songfight.org).
Though I've known what the title was for a week+, I finally decided to write the thing the night before it was due.
PROCRASTINATORS REPRESENT!
Sounds like you had a good time writing and performing this. Maybe I'll check out songfight.org sometime, but I'll most likely keep putting it off indefinitely. :)
My first serious/non-serious effort on the [Everyday Looper iPhone app](http://www.mancingdolecules.com/everyday-looper/).
Stats:
* 100% recorded through the iPhone
* probably 95% iPhone headset mic, 5% internal mic
* 98% my voice, 2% my piano…
I spent 15 hours composing and playing this or, I should rather say, this is the sole product of 15 hours of sitting with Live & my piano.
I think there is the kernel of something good in it (and I intend to explore that later) but the…
Another ambient noodle for this weekends 24 in 24.
The process:
- record a bunch of Plinkton (iphone app)
- dupe the tracks a couple of times, screw with the warping tempo
- add camelphat to one, camelspace to the other, leave the third alone…
An ambient anthemic piece.
The process:
- Start with a live take of me playing an iphone app called tonepad.
- add camelphat and camelspace
- add an Alchemy instance, find a big fat pad, work out a riff
- record a single take accompanying the…
The fourth piece in my 'Dissolving into Noise' collection IV was made entirely with my new Reaktor instrument "Yottskry" (see the [demo video](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEjtiTeR8w8) for more info on Yotskry).
I used Yotskry standalone…
Worked on this track for a *long* time. Learnt a lot but it's time to call it done and move on to something else. Am pretty happy with it all in all.
Sounds include samples of me clapping and the Snowdon steam train heavily processed with Ableton…
I guess this would be the "centerpiece" of the album. Like the rest of the album it really stumbles along the line between droney and simply repetitive, and it needs a bit of a reworking to reach its potential.
Wonderful track! Don't worry about it being "droney" or "repetitive"... you definitely have enough dynamics and other things going on to maintain interest throughout the entire tune. I wouldn't mind hearing the percussive elements a tad higher in the mix, but not by much. Good choice of timbres, too. *favorited and followed* :)
I recently bought the Imperfect Samples [Braunschweig Upright](http://www.imperfectsamples.com/website/samples/braunschweig/braunschweiguprightpiano.php) (Pro) sampled piano for Kontakt after falling in love with the sound of the demos.
I have…
I can completely appreciate this tune, not just because its for the RPM challenge, but also because the message is an important one that I feel more people should hear and share. Very fun track!
This Track is Part of an Anti Gang/knife Crime initiative that is running in an East London School.
The Pupils will make tracks Similar to this during the course, to try and send a message out..
To stop Youth Violence......
Wish us luck
Peace…
Hi folks,
It's good to back after RPM and the blackout of 2010.
A couple firsts here. I recorded this 100% with the computer. I never plugged in to a computer before.
I've always used a Roland VS machine and burnt my
songs/tracks to SCSI…
Comments on Galileo's Cough Drop's stuff
I dig this tune a lot! Great tones and layers. Bass line is great!
Nice to see a new one from you. This is great! Wonderful textures!
Mighty good!
Let's see... Chocolate, Strawberry, Vanilla, Coffee, Shamrock... Just kidding - This one sweeps the imagination. The soundscape is impressive.
My son's cracking up at this one! :)
Very pretty, relaxing music.
Had forgotten about this one. Just Gorgeous!

Sung from the heart. Very nice!
Love this! Raw, powerful, and rockin'... and that solo fits perfectly.
The lyrics and guitar blend well together. Definitely not bad for 45 minutes!

This is *tons* of fun. Love it! :D
Haunting and moody, with wonderful tone and reverberation. I'd definitely love to hear what else you come up with if you do extend on this.
Another nice result. I don't think I'd end up with something this enjoyable to listen to if I tried a 24in24!
This has a great flow to it that feels very natural, and the choices of sonic elements are fantastic. Nice work!
This would sound happy without seeing the title... but the title kind of makes it creepy! Well done. :)
Nice and simple. Very pleasant listen. Bravo!
Fascinating sounds. Really intriguing listen!
Nice track! Lots of fun bouncy bits to listen to.
Another great, emotive tune. Excellent work.

Definitely a great piano sound. I'd be pretty happy with that, too!

I like that style of laid-back rapping. Very cool.
Sounds like you had a great time (and quite a learning experience!) making this tune. Congrats on putting it all together nicely!
Listening to this again... I'm reminded of some of the better tracks by Tangerine Dream. Wonderful!
Beautiful. I like the guitar part. Ha! The reversed guitar swells are a pretty cool touch.
