Wow. Just read the 'about' section. Love the whole idea but it amazes me the things that you alonetoners do to create sounds - just brilliant. My own head just can't get there yet. Keep it up GCD. Magic.

I mostly wanted to make music with a funky clav line I'd come up with, so this is it. For the voiceover, I unabashedly used an awesome monologue by Ken Nordine.
Just a basic dance track because its just fun to bounce around sometimes. Also another excuse to use a growly bass sound... a "60 Hz Hum Bass" soundfont I had clearly neglected for too long.

That Growly sound is Freaking Superb!
Best Hook I have heard this year!

Love it!

A winner!!

I came up with the main bass riff on my electric bass, but after recording it I was unhappy with the tone, so I used a sampled upright bass. On top of that is a layer of doodling "lead guitar" (played on my bass), a dreamy semi-harsh organ sound…
This is a pretty simple tune. Its been sitting around for a while because I kept thinking that I was going to add more to it or change it up a bit. That never happened, so here it is. Any suggestions or comments appreciated. :)
I imagine this music playing in a bar sometime in the future, probably in the background while cybernetic bar patrons interface with one another in full view of the world's sensor network.
I came up with the initial rhythmic riff on my bass, then looped it to create the basis for this track. Then, I layered another "lead" bass track on top of that, added some percussion, and finally topped it off with an electric piano-ish sound…

Taking a breather from a few other projects and fired up some drum loops. 3 hip hop beats at 80 bpm. Funny how they just line up like that.
I added some 70's disco synth and some spooky sounds and Bingo.......spooky hip hop.
Go figure.....
Had to do this in Live....
Not Much time to Record Lately..
One track through the MBR onboard mic..
Hope you Like it!

This too was actually recorded from my midi controller playing the notes and then constructing chords out of them. All done again except the drums ( im no drummer).
I wrote a song called "Know" on the other Album.
A Guy in the States who goes by the name of HOOPER covered it as part of the "Tribute Fest" on Songcrafters .Org .
I was Utterly Blown away and Humbled by what he did for the song...

This is our little bundle of joy now grown up to be 10 years old. She took up the flute this year at school and this is her first effort in front of my microphone.
She decided on the flute after watching some vids of Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull…
Awesome playing and mix! Actually reminds me a bit of some of the stuff from Meat Beat Manifesto's "At The Centre" and "Off Centre" albums, and that's a good thing. :)
Okay so here it is, this is the blues piano piece I've been learning since **forever**. Tonight is the first time I've been able to play it through, twice, without making some kind of mistake.
That said I had to slow to 80bpm which is too slow…
Silly song. Silly lyrics.
One live take. I recorded the piano and vocals simultaneously, though if you want to get geeky about it, the piano was via MIDI. However, if you listen closely you might be able to hear me hitting the keys in the background…

I frequently go on training skates on a beach front trail. The parking lot is just off of a major highway bridge (the Burlington Skyway for those that know it). It's always an interesting sound there...
I recently acquired got a little Pocketrax…
Interesting to hear 52 seconds turned into nearly 15 minutes of grooving ambience with a semi-industrial feel. Enjoyed that groove kicking in around 5 minutes in or so, too.
This composition is a remix/reincarnation of a [previous tune](http://alonetone.com/gcd/tracks/seven-flavors-of-milk) I wrote a while back. I wasn't ever quite satisfied with it and had neglected to incorporate a nifty additional bit of melodic…
@Summer Lungs: I use Logic Pro and lots of third-party freebies. For this tune, in addition to the synths/effects from Logic itself, I also used a couple of Native Instruments Kore Player instruments, the mdsp@smartelectronix LiveCut plugin, the Lowcoders & Bitplant King Dubby Dub Delay, and the FuzzPlus2 plugin from Audio Damage.
Just messing around with voices and Yottskry. Here I am using it in Live and feeding 3 different vocal clips at a time. It's pretty slow getting going but I think it rewards (for some value of 'reward') listening all the way through.

Love it! I especially like the buildup before the "outro" part. Very cool. (I can give you the stems for each track if you really wanna mess with levels or change other things around, but I do think it sounds pretty good!)
Comments on Galileo's Cough Drop's stuff
Spacey soundscapes, and starry too - the percussion and astronaut interlocutors sound amazing. Very clever mix all over.

Love those drum sounds- This is very cool!
Lots of great stuff on this album. Enjoyed listening to all of it. This was my favorite. Lots of fun and glitchy stuff here.
:) Groovin' and captivating. One mo' time!
That drum sound is so distinctive and different. Very unusual and cool.
I Agree with Mr Gritt..... B-A-D A-S-S Your Mixes are amazing!!!
Stunning........

Loops can be a lot of fun. Sounds like you experienced that first-hand with this track. :)
Excellent, once again! Honest delivery and wonderful tune.
This reminds me (in a good way) of some old Plasmatics tunes... has a chaotic and rockin' feel.
I dig that grit.
Cool! This is a great cover of a great song.
Sounds like these guys had fun with your tune! Very nice.
Awesome playing and mix! Actually reminds me a bit of some of the stuff from Meat Beat Manifesto's "At The Centre" and "Off Centre" albums, and that's a good thing. :)
Very nice, sir! Worth the hard work.
This is awesome. :)
Love the energy in this tune. If I ever make it to the UK again, I'll have to come have a listen to you live. :)
Impressive cover! I dig it.
I like! What synths did you use?
Excellent delivery! I can picture hearing this in an indie film flick. :)
Great tune, and a performance to match. Very much enjoyed listening to this!
Fantastic playing. I like this a lot!
Great job covering this one!

Ha! Splendid vocal blurblation. I think I even recognize myself beginning around 1 minute-ish. :D
