There's nothing like hot coffee, and this is nothing like any hot coffee I've ever had (maybe because I don't usually get it in my ears.) The first few seconds made me smile, and as the inventively rich aural brew took over my senses, the smile overflowed my mug. This was a very fun interlude, beautifully beat-chopped and tastefully presented... and as with all coffee, it was over too soon (I'd suggest a teeny bit of a different ending, not so abrupt, perhaps?) Another in my series of experiments with the Reaktor ensemble Metaphysical Function.
I used two instances of Metaphysical Function to generate a soundscape that was bounced to audio, chopped up, and re-arranged.

I too can here a 4-floor beat jump in around 02:20 or so.. drop off at 03:45 and picks back up right before 04:00..looking forward to wherever you take this-- I'm really liking your rhythmic/atmospheric direction..
Hey! Thanks for the comment! To answer your question, I'm using Ableton Live to roll my own rhythms.. I have a slew of approaches, ... I might draw notes in a piano roll, trigger sounds with a midi controller, or beat box, clap, bang on some dish-ware... whatever gets the job done!
