close your eyes and imagine a glu concert-- what does it look like? describe this fake show to me... what would you want to see?
Oh, almost forgot. Many sounds, like these pretty cellos were found on freesound. I did manipulate the pitch on…
I'm better at using my pots and pans for music than for food, so I post this tune in hunger. 3 pots, 1 pan, and a tabla.
"i'm just a gangsta in the jungle" recorded in the amazon. It's actually a part of a monologue that I will likely never post…

Glu and Sister Savage bring you these remixes!
Original track by Sister Savage:

This one is pure pop. Voice pitched 1/2 step up.
Sister Savage has a little star in this track!
Melody based on 'ah! vous dirai-je, Maman,' by Mozart.. the original composer. I think it's the first and second variation of 12, but that was like 15 years ago that I learned the piece so I have…

I added melodies to the initial track and then Sister Savage
rerecorded the vocals to match the new melody.
Happy Sunday Alonetoner's.
I wrote this song yesterday as I had some recent events to ponder.... I hope you like it. Trying for a bit of a bluesy feel. If you'd like to download it and add some background blues bass or guitar, or harmonies…

Written, recorded, and mixed in 24 hours. August 01-02, 2009, from 6am to 6am.
Instrumentation: Two acoustic guitars, electric guitar (picked and bowed), fretless bass, about 7 different flutes, two tabla drums, rattles, tambourine, didgeridoo…
Thank you to all who took the time to listen and comment. I'll soon post newer versions of each track (separately). I hope it was an enjoyable twenty-four minutes. cheers.
Okay I need to say a few things. Please read before listening!
I did not do the 24 hour challenge but I did try and hang around in the chatroom as much as possible with Glu, SisterS, and ChrisM while they battled through it.
At about midnight…
Just one of those passing moods. Just finished today - august 2 2009. I resisted the temptation to try to develop it any further and just let it be what it is

One of four tracks I did for the August 2009 24 hour challenge. This was the last track I did, and it shows.
I was pretty tired after finishing 3am chill, and had to mess round for ages mangling loops and trying out different things before…
the tempo changes are totally melting my sleep-deprived brain..seriously.. !!! It's making me fall asleep... aptly named tune there!! You captured it perfectly. congrats again.. great job!
One of four tracks I did for the August 2009 24 hour challenge. This was the first track I did, when I was still fresh.
I'd wanted to play around with Guitar Rig 3 since getting it at the weekend. The guitars are ableton loops mangled with guitar…

This is quite an old track that got abandoned because I didn't feel it was right or going anywhere.
But listening to it in iTunes this morning I thought it passed muster. I don't think it has enough variation to justify it's length but it's gently…
Honestly I have no idea where this came from or how.
I was messing with Omnisphere patches and came across a lovely, flutey, breathy sound that put me in mind of the scenes inside the monolith at the end of 2001. I setup a Rytme pattern to…
oh June Bug! forgot about this one, Kirk. You're digging back 4-5 years! That flanger sound is a didgeridoo btw, pitch. The lead 'synth' part is a really short (looped) sample of a mandolin, filtered, and chromatically mapped out for playing. I forget all the other sounds. Thanks for listening to the old classics! :-)
I composed the music of this song specially for one of the soloists of my "Bulgarian Sample Voices" project, which will available soon as Apple Loops, EXS24, Kontakt etc...Here I use my new tool "RMX POWER CONTROL " More info will be published…
I'm almost totally happy with this song except it is for the mix. I would appreciate any comments on how to improve it. Is too bassy and the mix has a big blip in the beginning where it gets louder for a second. I know I can fix some of that with…
nice song, love the lyrics. Because you are asking for advice, I recommend bringing out the percussion to compliment that rich bass. I also think a little percussive variation would help the track move more fluidly. Looking forward to the final mix. Cheers!
Comments on glu's stuff
Oh...well...this is brilliant!!! Love love love it. Something from the radio playlist of Blade Runner. Exceptional work on this one here glu.
Seems like the muse has moved in to your space for the long haul...great stuff. Reminds me of Island hopping in Malaysia.
Wow. Surely a nominee for the Groovemeisterschaft der Welt ;-)
Oh yes; 'caught my attention from beat one -and drew me in w/ each next phrase. Oh yes.
Collaborator of the year: GLU!
Perfect song to get me out the door for a fun Saturday night!!! GLU does it again!

Glu does OMG? How can I not love this?? Must... resist... but... I... can... not... love it!

Lovely vibe to this one, glu's style really suits your voice. Or vice versa!
Groovy ass song! Reminds me of Beck but has an originality all your own. Nice work!
I must say I like this mix the best. The echo at the end, and the beat, appeal to me the most. ER
i'm going to get pregnant just so i can have a child that listens to this NON STOP.
brilliant man... this was a lot of work... wonderful.
I enjoyed being surprised in this song... definitely some good stuff here. And the sultry voice is great too!
Great take on this song, keeps the feel of the original with a new and interesting flavour!
I want more sister savage/GLU collab-sturbation.
I'm with everyone else, this is the best version! nice collaboration!!
This rocks dude!
I don't think I would need to pick a fav, but this is it. I thought it would be the Jazz Mix. Surprise! Nicely done.
