Shadows And Light, Written by Greg Connor
Shadows and light
Between the morning
And dark night
I call your name
It will be alright
Sound of the rain
Slapping time
On the Window pain
Somehow I feel
It will be alright
Caught between
Shadows and light
And the hard rain falls
Before the light
And the hard rain falls
Before the light
Spring time blooms
From frozen ground
I just assume
When the Robins come
It will be alright
This is a perfect song to turn on for an early sunny Sunday morning
Something very special about this song -- it gets me like no other Greg Connor tune. Adore it!
So gorgeous, I tremble in awe as I listen. Remarkable lyrics, and the new vocals and additional flute are magical as well and appropriate for this fantastic song. You're the man!
I was expecting an earlier version of this song, sung by Greg. What a pleasant surprise to hear this newer version with female vocals. BEAUTIFUL!
Nice
Beautiful . I'd like to hear it mixed with the voice as clear as the guitar.
This is a truly beautiful song, I can't stop listening to it. Beautiful voice too, the song sticks in my head all day.
Bethan, you always bring the light. excellent backround work.
Back for another listen. Awarded the Best of 2011 on Alonetone, by me!
This is great - I love the harmonies especially. The whistle is an excellent counter point to the wonderful guitars.
I missed this one Bethan's beautiful vocal and Lisa's playing along with you guitar a wonderful piece of work what collabs were made for....excellent job all round.....
@ Norm, I'm working on it!
Radio ready in my opinion. This is just so classy.
Great job. One of the cleanest collaborations I've heard recently. Played it 3 times to absorb it. Nice. Daryl
Now this is the kind of thing that just takes my breath away :) Great track folks.
I tought about Joni Mitchell at firt, but I'm not disappointed now that I've listened, I'm delighted - wonderful!!!!!! going for this compilation
Well I think Lisa did a great job, she is a breath of fresh air and I know we both enjoyed working on your beautiful song. Thanks!
Holy wow, now that's really something. right up there with anything in the profession. A little male baritone could be nice in there too. Still powerful as industry standards go.You all have hit on a sound that possibly will make you some money.
Great tune.
Wow This is sweet. Three of my Favorite people compile a great piece of music
