Came up with a proper title, because I THINK the tuning is open D minor. Thanks for the comments. And BTW, no overdubbing was used. Just used the stereo output from the Yamaha Acoustic Stomp pedal.
Very nice picking....great over dubbing... for some reason I feel this would be also great at a slower speed.. Tempted to find some words to go with it.. lovely.
Recorded in 2005.
Joe Silence - vocals and all instruments; tracked by Joe Silence at Spit Recorders.
Mixed by Joe Griffin of Toxic Bag Productions.
The guitar solo is not actually a guitar.
Kazoo solo? Cool. i couldnt publish my Pink Floyd covers playlist to the front page for some reason, but here it is:

Good version. I've heard so many covers of this, my favorite one is by New Riders of the Purple Sage. An old country classic originally done by Lefty Frizell but written by someone else.
Here's to Johnny!

Top Of The Pops circa 1972! Remember when all those bands in the early 70's where adding synth to every song but the lyrics meant something (sometimes)? Pure excitement, pure bubblegum, pure fun. Well, this is my offering and thanks to all of…
Keith Landry used his considerable vocal talents on this song, and he made a decent song sound great. I added one or two harmonies, but the lead vocals are his. I think he did a great job. What do you think?

Wow! You did this album too? Proves your at least as crazy as I am! Very well done, not just synth pads and gobs of reverb, well thought out and arranged ambient compositions!
Finally going to end this RPM with a slop fest.
Pretty disgusted with my efforts. I did have some fun though.
I feel like I just gave birth to a full set of Ludwigs.
High gloss black of course.

Acoustic tale recorded Christmas 2010.
I wrote it years ago. Even tried rehearsing it with the band I was in at the time. But I couldn't play it properly. It took several weeks of practicing DADGAD (never really used it in anger before) until…
Title song from this years RPM Challenge.
Lyrics:
Shot dead
is what I felt when I first looked into your eyes
Shot dead
Is what I became, I tell you that ain't no lie
My head
it just exploded when I saw that way that you dance

The wizard scores another excellent track! w;-)
Bravo! The hum adds to it. I was about to suggest throwing a high pass filter on it, but I now disagree with my own suggestion. Rock on.
Mysterious! I love it!!
Whew! Great performance. That's some fast pickin'.
FINE Playing man! Looking forward to the rest of the album!
Sounds like I am going to enjoy your RPM album a lot!

This is a seriously good album, raw in places, but all fascinating and experimental. It deserves more listens.
I like this "impressionist" take on this, one of may favorite all time songs.

Wonderful album, Raven. I love this dark ambient stuff. Thanks!
Great beats as always Norm. You can bet I'll be using this. Has anyone done a "Stone Age" playlist yet with all these tributes? hmmm

crunchy good!
very cool instrumental, this and shot dead my favorite so far.
thanks Sis. Daughter Brit did the vocal in the middle!
been smokin James Brown? Good luck with that drug/alcohol thing.
Trying to wrap my head (ears?) around the slightly overdriven mono(?) mix you use, but the melodies are always so strong!
A new version with a REAL female vocal.
Wonderful album, you deserve some kind of medal, considering the circumstances.
Great song and acoustic gtr sound! Your voice is so expressive too.
Oops commenting previously and forgot to sign in, enjoying the album.
Chilling. If looks could kill...
