Track 5 from my RPMX album Cold Ground Was My Bed
Inspired by Salvador Dali. Mostly.

Clocks melting everywhere

Dali is my favorite. Fabulous lyrics! Digging the combination of strumming mixed with slip'n'slide. This recording is a real fun for the ear and the imagination. Far out AND groovy!
RPMX track 4
Skin of silk, tungsten steel
Machine of lust, seems unreal
Simple chores are what you’re for
I remade you for so much more
My love is gone forever now
But you will do, 'cos I know how
To modify you’re software now
Will…
Fascinating, interesting, intriguing lyrics, indeed, without a doubt. Very pleasant music. well sung -- good delivery. Well mixed for maximum pleasure.
Track 9 for RPMX album Cold Ground Was My Bed
Those boots that you're wearing black and high
Reach almost up to your thigh
High heels and leather
Tight as a drum
They would even look good on your mum
Black Boots
Wear them with fishnets…

what a funky, cool, groovy grove! A lyrically cool subject matter too. If Lou Reed was still with us, he would have wished he wrote this. And as Paul Lennon (Wildgeas), that's some smooth organ!

When I sent this song off to Jim, he sent back tracks for a second rhythm guitar, lead guitar, and drums. Bass soon followed, and Kavin's slide dropped in nicely. Just thought I'd let y'all have a listen to what came back to me…
Cool. In many ways I like this one better. Not so much ME, and Jim does some lead. Nothing against Norm, but the drums work better here and seem to propel the song more.
Recorded in 2008.
Fuzz guitar through an old DDL into a pitch transposer, recorded in one pass with no edits or overdubs.
Just a minute noodle doodle, really, but it's gonna go somewhere.
Honest!
Partita for solo violoncello was composed for Sumire Kudo in the spring of 2007. Although it is a single movement work, its form derives from a collage-like assemblage of diverse materials that can be heard as fragments of movements from an imagined…

Genius guitars K. I like Dali's Elephants. 30ft tall with pencil skinny legs :) - been there.
Totally cool! Amazing lyrics!

Great track mate dig it
Like the jazz blues mix, good one.
Delicious work out on the guitar. To get political with a song takes courage -- few are willing to go there, but I do it myself often enough. Rock on!
I absolutely love this track! w;-)
Agree with the sentiments... and cool guitar tones :)
Synths are great too
Its got a nick cave to it.. Vocals are excellent. Just the touch
Oh man kavin that's beautiful. Absolutely nailed it
Really nice slip'n'slide work. Great vocal delivery in this one. Sweet arrangement of sounds. GROOVE ON!

Do you own the copyright for this song?
