A cowrite with Michelle
We’ve all done things we’re not proud of
Broken promises and painful regrets
We’ve all said things that would have been better left unsaid
When you’ve gone as far as you can go
There’s no more to see no more…
I’m a long way from home
Open road in front of me
What’s lost when you think you feel free
Feels like something missing
I left it with you
Must be a piece of me
I don’t know what is about this town
It’s dragging me down dragging me down…
Hey, I really like this. The slide work is great. Q: do you find the resonator to be substantially louder compared to a regular acoustic ? Just wondering, as I busk and was thinking I might try and find one at some point (if I ever have enough money). I gotta check out more of your stuff :-)

Long drum solos aren't for everyone - I get it. Just do what many at Grateful Dead concerts did and look at it as an opportunity to go get another beer. On the other hand, if you are the sort of person who cheers at the fireworks show, I hope…
My girlfriend was born in the Middle East, that's why I've come to listen a lot to Arab, Persian, Turkish, and Tuareg music. I improvised this song within a few early morning hours after coming home from a concert by the incredible Tuareg rock…
I was reading this profile on MySpace and was impressed with this girl...really impressed. It's all there in her BIO. Masters degree and five languages. The part about using gender "stereotypes ironically" etc is an exact quote.

Stealin' Pumpkins off the vine...
Such good fun I do it all the time.
Single Gon Bops conga track miced for heavy bass. And 2 tracks of cow bell, of course.
4/4 200bpm
Had these backing tracks laying around on my drive for a while and didn't know what to do with them, so grabbed my Ebow and a fretless electric that I built for myself a couple years ago and had a go. My fretless playing is really in its infancy…
You look out the window and the creek is swelling. Slowly crossing the lawn and heading up the driveway.... Time to get the lawnmower to higher ground.

WOW! I really like the Vortices. They really blend beautifully. Just close your eyes, sit back and space out. Nice work!
I love it! It’s spatial
Another thumbs up tune with sincere lyrics. :)
Definetly different, in a good way. Would be nice in a soundtrack. Fun listen :-)
Cool, has that live 'on the street' vibe to it. Boogie on !

this Hardest Blow project is really awesome! Cant wait to hear it all in it's entahrety.
@AFC- it reminds me of early Scorpions, hence the heavy metal observation..heavy metal lite? Ah well, screw genres...
Love how this turned out! I don't get to do heavy metal often, that was fun!
It's hard to get this expressiveness from an ebow, well done!
always dig long drum solos if interesting, and this sure is. DL'd to mess around with later.
Lovely slide playing there.
Drop-D tuning, Cap. And yes BJ the chording is direct influence from NY's unplugged Mr. Soul, you have a keen ear sir.
good boogie.
Really good. like how you worked around the repeating guitar figure. Kind of a Turkish, mid-eastern sound.
Heheh. Classic JMT.
Hey Norm, no prob, there's no copyright on song titles! Stinkbug was my daughter's nickname when she was small. thanks!
Que genial!
owell, nice try. Some tasty stuff here, tho.
Some dark, experimental stuff on this album. Digging it.
Always a big compliment to get a smiley from Mac! :)
..and MTC Jim!
very nice Keith. Where exactly was that playlist pic taken?
you are a rhythm machine man! I'll be stealing this 'un for sure!
saweeet...sounds like slide but it's fretless! Did you break out the DL4 for this?
Hope your heads above water my friend, great tune!
