Something completely different- Uilleann pipes(Irish bagpipes) and synth. I wrote this tune over 20 years ago in the style of traditional Irish slow airs. It was recorded way back in 1991 for an album that's been out of print for over 15 years…

THese are all very relaxing.Meditative even.
Makes me want to go reconsider my instrumental pieces.
I'm listening at work while formatting hard Drives, and a co-worker was interested , so I sent her the link.
Solo acoustic guitar recorded January 2nd 2009. Hope to do a longer more developed version at some point ,but for now just a short version to learn more about using new DAW software.

thanks! these are just short brainstorms... you are right, the last one sounds like an ending to a track... Maybe that's what it will eventually become, who knows!
the first multi track piece that I actually finished "in the box" in Cubase. An ambient kinda thing that grew out of playing around with the Line 6 DL4. Not sure I like the bow parts, but I may re do it later
Rough sketch of a proposed dreamy 12 string piece that I couldn't pull off on the 12 string so did this quick electric version with vocal pads. Not sure of the recording quality- sounds OK in my cans and kinda crappy on my monitors. Recorded march…

I think if I was going to write...which I promise myself one day that I will...I would use this track for inspiration. When I listen a little story unfolds in my mind. Very nice.

A moody solo acoustic thing that I came up with playing in a long forgotten tuning. Just got a new Zoom H4N, so this was recorded in my shop sitting at my reedmaking bench may 12 2009

Enchanting. There are a bunch of little tricks up your sleeve here, nice note bending and (tongue?) tremolo... skillfully played, I enjoyed letting it unfold around me.

This is a tune we did in 2011 and is featured in Ramen Music Issue 6.
I wanted to upload it to my last collection of Wildgeas tunes.
It's one of my favorite collaborations eveh!
Suds mixed this version.
It belongs here.
Enjoy!
Created for the Sound-In event "F" theme, but also coinciding conceptually with Jim Goodin's delay project, Passing the Torch.
fretless junk strat tuned FFCACF through DL4 delay modeler.
I recently discovered three songs we had recorded in 1993 or 1994 shortly before breaking up. These tracks are the only ones (that I know of) that have our new player, the only personnel change we had in over 10 years.
The title is obviously…
Just a mellow track I created. I spent a lot of time on the production of this piece. Instruments include acoustic guitar, strings, chorus, and ambient synth.
A Sea Shanty with a bit of Psychedelic seasoning. Guest artist Starry Nightmoth performs the “harmonica” on a Yamaha KB as the song fades out.
37 SAILS
Thirty-seven sails be a full rigged ship
Open up ye hatch and pour ye spirit down…
With JS Tolar, as band Visions Of Nell.
My tribute to Anne Boleyn, the first queen to be publicly executed in England. I used some of the poetry she wrote during her imprisonment in the chorus. An innocent, incomparable woman.
This is a fun idea Greg has, and I can't wait to hear more.
He sent me an acoustic and vocal track and asked me to complete it.
I stayed up most of the night jammin' it. :)
It's a bit loose around the edges because I didn't work anything…
