I was drinking one night -- that's how most of my stories start -- thinking about somebody I used to love. This is raw, no effects, recorded on a single mic.

good song. Question, though. How many more are you going to upload, because I would love to upload something and not have it disappear from this list 3 minutes later....
Agree with Bethan, too. Harmonies are top-notch, the melody and vocals keep complete focus, the big sound at 2:10 and then the piano, at the end, that seems to just sort of dance away into the distance.... this is one of the best on alonetone.
This is a rough mix of a track I did with the one & only Norm Harris. I've got some vocals in mind, but it may take some time to put it together, so meanwhile here's the instrumental version. Big thanks & major props to Norm…

I swore that I would NEVER upload this. Was having a bad day trying to loop "nice" acoustic guitar sounds and got frustrated so grabbed my Taylor and plugged it into a cheesy Effects box and straight into the looper. Started twiddling knobs and…
Awesome, I wish I had more time these days to keep up with everyone. This one was beautiful, tender. I wish the vocals were just a bit higher in the mix... my ears aren't very good. :D
For those I call my friends....

Enviable guitar tone. I want that sound.
The guitar and vox are a deadly weapon here! Great tune.
Fantastic song. Recorded very well.
well, thank you! That was a song I recorded and mastered myself. The other songs I have were recorded professionally =] Thanks again :)

Is the vocal too low? :(
Awesome!
I'm glad you broke your promise to yourself. Eerie, trance-like awesomeness. I think you may have invented a new style of music... :D

Simple, awesome, perfect. Thanks for sharing.
Very cool... the roughness of it is actually a big plus. More like this! ;)
This song is amazing. I like your whole catalog here -- how long have you been writing and recording?
I think this is the best recording on alonetone.... And, sorry, I will stop uploading old stuff now. :)
