It was about sunrise when I met this guy on the streets of the French Quarter and bought him coffee. I don't know if he's still around -- that was some 20 years ago -- but a two-hour conversation affected my life more than I would have ever known…
every moment
each day
searching
for something
someone
to feel
know
care
every face
each friend
rejection
and its too much
too much
too much
to bear
it's been a long
long
time coming
it's a long
long
way home
every moment
each inch of time…
The story of everyone's life.
I tried again, after I learned it a bit better.
I took my love, I took it down
Climbed a mountain and I turned around
And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
Till the landslide brought me down…

I had to get it out of my head. Now hit pause and go play the real corny song by some kid on youtube. Then it will be stuck in your head and you…

This is a cover of somebody from the 1970's... had a dream with a version like this in a post-dinner nap.
I recorded it as a laugh... but it is kind of interesting.

Hi gang.
The Proods are back....Brian at the helm this time.
Our methodology is thus....one of the 4 of us introduce a song, and then we'll bang out a finished track in under an hour with as few over-dubs as possible. This one we put some effort…
Agree with jimgoodinmusic... Byrds tone sneaks out on the guitar and percussion. Would love to find out who all of your influences are for the band.
In response to your hopefully slightly tongue-in-cheek comment about drum clarity to TonyCee... I always found letting the mics mug the kit like 3" away from everything and then an aggressive high pass filter got everything as clear as possible without muddle. That's exactly what professionals don't do... :D
Anyway, great as always.
wrote this about 10yrs ago ,drums programmed , mixed and mastered , produced , by myself , bass , rthm guitars lead guitar , vocals , backing vocals , by myself , hope you like it , cheers tony cee
To echo everyone else, this one has a great, clear overall sound to it. I would bring that clean guitar up in the break or bridge a smidge.... it's too nice to not get a louder voice! And speaking of which, nice vocals too. Always enjoy your tunes.
The clue is in the title Reg woke up feeling a little disgruntled with the world ....
Screwed up & wary
You say tell me your secrets
but all you’ll hear are my lies
The compromised childhood

Been busy all week preparing for the winter weather and getting stuff ready for the horses and sheep to see them through winter. But with the torrential rain today i thought a guitar day was to be and this came out…
this is a new song not much to it , all instruments played by myself , drums , programmed ,by myself, vocals and backing vocals by myself, thanks for your time ,cheers tony cee
Getting lost in the maze from time to time is just part of life
The maze of misfortune
I get one step forward and three steps back
Can’t see where I’m going
Lifes so dark and black
Looking ahead seems stupid and pretty…
This one is marvelously cool. The swing-ish notes and drumming are captivatingly disorienting in a great way. The lyrics wind up hitting close to home. I think I am mishearing the line in the chorus as "beneath my anthill parachute," which is fine with me because that's an amazing lyric. :) Great one.
Subdued - adjective: quietened and brought under control
poor old Reg has been told again.....
Subdued
Sky burning bright with that jagged blue
She’s Off to bed with that dinnner for two
She read youlike…
Simpler Days is a ballad by drummer-Matt.
While I was mixing it the words caught me off guard and the song stirred up some emotional stuff that I'm hoping might come through for the wider listening public.
This has a nice country joe groove and feel to it and I love the melody. It would help to share the lyrics they aren't really standing out enough for these old ears... not a criticism just sayin' I'm old. :) Thank you for sharing as always.
This is a song my late-night self apparently left for my morning self to think about. I admit it just keeps gnawing at me, maybe not in a good way.

When the rain comes
as it always does
I remember you with me
Under the kissing tree
you fell with me
fell with me
You have been so far
so far from me
across the sea
And when the rain comes
as it always does
I remember you…
Reg had an apiphany life is short and getting shorter so get on with it, whatever it is you need to get on with get on and get on with it .....
Get it on
Go get your plan and tear it up
Lets all start again

this song is about 5 yrs old , rythm gtr/ lead gtr/ bassgtr / keyboards instruments / brass / strings / organ / played by myself , vocals / backing vocals/ by myself ,...mixed and mastered by myself ,...thank you for your time ,.....cheers tony cee
Another great tune! The first thing that caught me was the groove. The rhythm guitar providing the backbeat is awesome and as soon as the vocal kicks in, I'm sold.

Yeah, this is really cool. I wouldn't have known how to describe it, but Andrew's description works! It really felt like the drums were going to pull out and then jump into a Ringo backbeat through the chorus, then instead we got the brass filling in that jazzy feeling.
The solo is great too. Keep it up!
Mr. Greene
The most beautiful man I’d ever seen
Our high school teacher Mr. Greene
Little more than a child at seventeen
In love with our teacher Mr. Greene
Immature and so out of touch
Just a silly schoolgirl crush.

There is a quality in this song that really grabs you and captures your attention.
I love the immediacy and raw emotion of your music.
A+
Oh, and now I know the lyrics! :)
Great SP tune - You really brought it home!
I thought I'd heard this before, but I'm lovin' it again. Great job, sounds perfect!
I'm lovin' it!
Like it, reminds me of Neil Young and R.E.M. Beautiful looking guitar too, love Carvins.
Have always loved this tender song - enjoyed!
even better....love it
Nice acoustic version of a favourite of mine
^_^ this makes me so ughhh! I can't even explain how much I love the melody.
Doesn't sound corny to me - and your passion resonates. Brilliant.
Listened to both...yep stuck in my head...better find some other music to get it out. On the plus side your is much better then his ;)
Wow bro, keep it up.. That blew me away ! :3

You've been knocking these out of the park. Again beautiful sound, but more so beautifully intense lyrics that somehow hit close to home again.
This isn't just a great tune, but the guitar and vocals sound clean and beautiful too. Nice one.
Every time you post something new I expect some new, cool cat groove... and you never disappoint.
Dark but beautiful. The piano comes in with the exact feeling the song wove. Really feel this one.

Kept hoping to hear that bluesy harp say hello in this one. Great tune.

This is relaxing and intense at the same time. Great track.
There. Ruined it with drums.
This is fantastically unique and uniquely fantastic. It really draws you in. Beautiful.
I'd love to see a video of this. My brain can't wrap its, well, brain around what's going on. :D
This is haunting, sad, delicate and beautiful.
The song is indeed cute, but the lyrics might need a trigger warning.... :)
I love this jazzy style from you. Great tune even if it hits a bit close to home...
Your tunes still remind me of Daniel Lanois work. Beautiful.

I feel like I just read somebody's diary.... This feels brutally honest and the vocals and instrumentation are spot on. Very nice!
