A happy kind of electro pot-pourri.
The process:
- find a sound, noodle in Ab
- find another sound, develop a compatible noodle
- repeat a couple of times
- program a beat
- add replicant
- find other sounds for a B section
- find more sounds…

takes a bit of time to develop, but it keeps getting better and better as it unfolds. 2nd part is really good..(clap sounds too dry, for a piece so bubble-ish)

Gurgling, bubbling, churning.
This is the last track of the March 2010 24 hour challenge.
The process...
- find some interesting synth sounds (have collected many)
- work out some basic chords
- do some filtering
- add two tracks of e-bow…
Took sandbag's [Andromeda 1](http://alonetone.com/sandbags/tracks/andromeda-1) and applied some BigSeq2 and LiveCut.
Added a little FM8 underneath.
And this happy little accident came out.
I frequently go on training skates on a beach front trail. The parking lot is just off of a major highway bridge (the Burlington Skyway for those that know it). It's always an interesting sound there...
I recently acquired got a little Pocketrax…

After I read into RPM and understood that anybody could take the challenge, I joined up. I'm starting with a clean slate, so I hope I can finish! This a WIP of the first tune I'm working on. Everything I do will be recorded/produced with the Boss…
Thanks to Mike Brown for lending a hand with the lead parts.. despite trying his damnedest not to! Also thanks for MMI for the advice which in part at least, I took!
I'm gonna call you dirty from now on in x2

2010 RPM Challenge
Worked on this track for a *long* time. Learnt a lot but it's time to call it done and move on to something else. Am pretty happy with it all in all.
Sounds include samples of me clapping and the Snowdon steam train heavily processed with Ableton…
just finished this one, represents a slightly new direction i am taking i think.
i am particuarly proud of the polyrhythmic sound i achieved. i was worried it mite become too cluttered (at the beginning) but i think i achieved clarity.

Live performance from "Zodiacrobatic", Hybrid Groove Project's remix of "Tierkreis" (Zodiac) by Karlheinz Stockhausen. Brian Sacawa and I performed this, our version of Leo, on our Mobtown Modern series in May 2009. The complete "Zodiacrobatic…
Sitting around in my shop a couple of days ago with the Goodall and the Zoom H4N. First time I've really messed with using the internal mics on the H4N in multitrack mode
I made this simple song to try out playing an acoustic guitar with an ebow. It works, but it's quite quiet. The movement of the fingers on the fretboard is louder than the sounds. I didn't use any effects on the guitar tracks.
I recorded my voice…
Comments on mmi's stuff
Splendid! Looping and ebow, whoda thought?
Very Radiohead sounding (thats a huge congrats in my books). Yup I like it
Very nice!
Robots engage in oily last dance.

Electro Pot-Pourri....I love that....It's exactly what I do....lmao.
Bororygmus is fantastic. As a bass player myself I love it.
interesting,,,,, i am enjoying this on a late friday eve,,,, it's a piece of music one can get lost in,,, i like the way it develops the sound scape
I'm a big fan of minimalism. Nice work!
very different - twitch dance :-)
The drama really starts at about 3 minutes. Real cool experimental piece.
I knew there was music in there somewhere. Interesting stuff fellas.
Nice remake!
I love happy little accidents...
ahhh, i love the sounds, not sure if i would like to be on the burlington skyway if it sounded like this though.
That was big fat approval from me, right there. Soundtrack to space. I will play this if I ever get the telescope I looooooooong for.
Rather groovy.
Wow mate this is really cool great job.
the 1st song I ever favorited on alonetone, still one of my all time favs. Love it. Quacktastic.

Superb!
Swoon.
Welcome to the party. Interesting limitation(?) you've chosen.
Awesome song.
Tapped out! Super cool. If you don't mind the comparison, sounds very Trey Gunn (which is a good thing).
Yeah, I'd have trouble sleeping too with musical ideas like this.
Very well done. Somebody should warn those Kraftwerk dudes that you're coming for them.
Very cool.
*Love* it.
Is this at all inspired by the TV show? Cause it certainly fits.
Dudes. Nice frickin' porch. Wish I was there.
Wish I was there to see this.
I love the changes. (Man I still have so much to learn.)
yay for warts; felt like I was there
Really digging the vibe of your recent stuff.
Don't you hate it when somebody walks in in the middle of a take? :-) So realistic I jumped.
Astonishing. Love the video too.
yeah man. can hardly wait for the savaging.
Hahaha, awesome. Brings me back to my time listening to Bill Bruford's Earthworks.
A thing of beauty. Few write changes like this anymore.
