A moody piece I whipped up while testing the new Live 9 beta.
Basically, two chords (Cmin7, Bmaj7) and some layered noodles.
Still have a busted finger, so the guitar playing is... restricted.
Drones are nothing new. But I decided it was time to seriously explore them.
For those interested in how these things develop. The drone was developed on my looper pedal by layering guitar sounds that were processed by uPOG and Freeze pedals…

Sort of a Tuesday improv...
Built up around a synth texture that I built up with:
Operator->FilterStation->Volcano->Kombinat->Panstation->RP-Delay
(what's the fun in having plugins if you can't abuse them)
A meditation of sorts.
Arose from experimentation with a technique described here

This is a single take with a bunch of reverb added after the fact in Reaper (also an experiment…

I accidentally started two tracks on alonetone in different tabs. Your track and Movement to Contact's "Coffee with a Little Sugar". Do it :D http://alonetone.com/mtcband/tracks/coffee-with-a-little-sugar-by-norm
A drone + some angry drunken guitar playing.
Trying to capture a feeling...
You have just had a fight/argument with a lover but you're drunk and your feelings are lost in a swimming haze.
Tech details:
Drone is two tracks, volume pedal…
Still playing with my _Neurotik_ sequencer made using Max for Live. This one turned out a bit strange. I was actually using it to drive Kontakt with cello & violin patches.
It was sort of interesting but not quite working when I dropped CamelSpace…
A second demo of my _Neurotik_ sequencer built in Max for Live and emulating the _Neuron Sequencer_ from Audio Damage's latest instrument [Axon](http://www.audiodamage.com/instruments/product.php?pid=AD026).
I've fixed up some stuff in the…
One for my electronic friends. It's just a bunch of patches mixed with MIDI and glued together with 1 part water, 2 parts flour, and 2 parts ectoplasma.
Enjoy!
More LoopShifted piano accompanied by Stylus RMX and Omnisphere. At over eight minutes it's perhaps a little self-indulgent but maybe it's more like punting down the river Styx than jet-skiing on a lake of fire.
Here's to insignificance my friend. May you never be squashed like a bug.
Instruments used: Kontakt, LoopShifter, Stylus RMX
Effects used: Eos, DubStation, Replicant, Augustus Loop

Still struggling with this one...
Maybe not possible to make this work in a country song...MY DICK DON'T KNOW SHE'S GONE
1. She's been gone for three years now. Three years since she walked out
Friends and folks I work with ask me what it…
This is a tune that's been on the back burner for a bit. I was looking to get a dark Ultravox kind of sound. Anyone feel like puttin' on their Midge Ure hat???
Anyway, these aren't the droids your looking for.
Move along..............Move along.
A personal anti-war song...or something like that !-)

I wrote this song,
It came from the inside,
Because of that,
I can make it stop.

This is from years ago, living in santa fe.
I loved driving around in my little 1980s toyota corolla and listening to cassettes. I loved the way they sounded.
So I took a piano song I was working on, recorded it to cassette, dragged mic…
still one of my personal faves. - although i'd wish to redo some parts, i'm stuck with this version, since i don't own one of the synths used there anymore..

This was my "signature" track several years ago. I wrote this on guitar in the mid-90s while I was getting divorced, but later renamed it and recorded it…
WARNING! ADULT CONTENT or goofy great........
After a week of computer crashes, I finally got my gear all back to normal. I got my drum kit hooked up yesterday and did a test run which led to this bit of Saturday morning fun that only

This song is built on an entirely weird formula. First, I played it.
Second, I broke it up into equal but random lengths,
Then, starting each segment where i played it, Repeating each segment four or five times, adding lots of fx

Tasty!
This is a masterful mix-down of sounds -- serious groovy-ness! Top notch, extraordinary talent!
You're still doing great music, so glad to hear it!
Hey this is pretty cool, totally trips along.
Totally dig! w;-)
sick
lovely
Moody indeed. Serious flares vibes from this. And you got the new live 9 beta :o
Lovely! Great textures! Sorry about the finger
Nice! Dig the effects!
This does have a Sci-fi feel to it. I think it fits right in with Voyager-1 leaving our solar system.
nice, sounds like a sci fi movie intro too. I would remix it...some time
are you using a plastic hose to get that sound? i like it
great
i love this. Have you ever heard of the band Dif Juz? They also use delicate guitar layering. Can't wait to hear your other songs.
Sweet tones...riffs like churchbells.
great open guitar feel. enjoying the layers.

yay for Camel toys! they're like HP sauce for me
Excellent work. But even better for me, you've provided some inspiration for experimentation.
Grooving darkly.
This is a keeper. That thing that sounds like a guitar is actually an affected piano? Very cool.
Specs move better in headphone headspace. Highly recommended.
Well done my friend.
lmao! this is awesome!
Love it!
Special.
Awesome-sauce. Dreaming of you and Michael Brook sharing a stage...
Definitely captured the UV vibe.
Smooooth.
Beautiful track. Listening for the umpteenth time and starting to find the little details you added. It's like a treasure hunt.
Diggin it.
Wonderful wonderful piece.
Great track.
Very pretty.
In Canada, we outlawed capital punishment; so hanging ponies is definitely not on the "fun menu" anymore.
Simply. Beautiful.
evil twisted genius Bravo!
