This is a rough mix of a track I did with the one & only Norm Harris. I've got some vocals in mind, but it may take some time to put it together, so meanwhile here's the instrumental version. Big thanks & major props to Norm…

this is the midi file called porcupine-22 feed thru my supernova II not sure where clones got the file or if that was one he made himself but I believe it was in the section of MIDI files to feed into the nova.. :) then the edits and the mixing…
I resorted to some unmarked old CDRs in the car today on my way to and from my Dad's (I brought him a new laptop) and found one of the earlier collaborations between Norm and myself.

As I had nothing better to do last night, I had this great idea that I would construct a rhythm for the 24 hour challenge. This would be different: a 24 minute drum solo (I mean, who wouldn't love that?). I even had a perfect bass riff: the "Mother…
13 minutes! Fail! I recommend you augment your self a bit (with a glass or three of red wine or whatever floats your boat) and dim the lights, lay on the floor with your eyes closed where you can feel the bass rumble and get ready to be my passenger…

You know i've got a pretty good little tub-preamp but the bass has active pick-ups. I think my main problem is i need better guitar cables. I've been getting this subtle hiss from the bass and it's driving me crazy. I've checked and re-checked everything and it has to be the cable....it does eliminate some if i use the interface vs the line in on the computer, but i got the interface for my "upgraded" studio....which has windows 7 and so you can imagine how that is coming along. ;)
Requires work. Would be the first thing to say.. not least the bloody clipping. Just wanted to post something to prove im not dead.

Serious stuff right here. Out of sight tight.
Solid and real tight MTC. Certainly worth vocalizing. Bass and Drum breaks are crackerjack. Spot on.
Slammin' Jammin' man.
Love the variety on this track!
A fantastic failure! Let's have an alonetone convention at your BBQ!
Nice dynamics in this one.
this is a pretty sweet instrumental tune
sick - love the bass on this one
nice - like Silverchair covering "Back In Black"
opening riff reminds me of "War Pigs"- very cool - love the drops outs and drum breaks
dig those guitar effects and playing. Yup a cranker upper^
