I'm digging this - you get the levels perfect. I like how the instrumentation slowly builds up over the course of the song.
(It's nice being able to see the audio visually now when the song plays - it gives me a better sense of what the optimal levels are for music should be.)

There's a darkness creeping in the woods by a brimstone tree
A withered headless horseman traveling on the breeze
A mighty footprint measured 15 inches long
Whispered voices rolling in off the fog

My last demon
Follows me around
I hear his suggestions
But you don't hear a sound
My last demon
Is riding in the back
He looks like he's sleeping
But he's on the attack
He leans in and whispers
And I forget…
here's the lyrics:
I am looking forward to the day
that I can say
I have finally buildt my home
No more walls to tear down
no more roofs to build
no more pain(t) to vent out
no more drains ....
I want to sit down in the garden

This is the first piece made with a Reaktor instrument I built today that I have called "Xylo".
Xylo is a sampler that plays a region of the sample back and forth with a 10s release time. Each note defines a region of a different length (but…

I was inspired by my friend's film project who is a film producer. She told me about an amazing woman in Thailand that has an elephant sanctuary caring for abused animals, even though she's being harrassed by the mob(underground ivory-trade industry…
I do have video of Jacob playing the udderbot with the band - but right now I'm still putting together my gear from storage and this was the best I could do with Windows Live movie maker on my laptop.
So for now - enjoy the sound of Jacob jamming…
Well, screw the metronome, damn the torpedoes, and grab a capo!
Sometimes the best versions are the ones played fast and loose. Hope you enjoy this song adapted from one of my all-time favorite poems (I'm a bit biased since my dad wrote it…
We forgot to mention that Reg visited Norm's place a little later and added some vocals. The video is a ride through the US state of Virginia. The Texas Tavern serves cheesy westerns (cheese, fried egg, burger, bun) in the downtown of Roanoke Va.
I took a week off work to do some music, and what with the riots, and a huge alcoholic binge having massively negative effects on my hedmeds, I haven't felt an ounce of creativity/positivity. rather pure misery. so i didnt even bother trying Monday…

I deleted this a while ago I think. Just found it on a CD and decided to put it back up for your listening pleasure. It demonstrates the proper usage of a washboard!
I remember when we were young
I remember waiting for the sun
you said you loved me

I remember the stories of our days
I remember the tears in your eyes
