So I had this song, not quite finished, I sort of insisted Greg Connor sing it, he also wrote the last verse. Steve Krell added the solo break. I think they helped to bring the song alive. Oh yeah, I'm in the Chorus ...... hiding Somewhere. :) :)

Like it! Love those chords. And I love how the tension goes up and down - a big release at the start of the chorus, and then it gradually grabs you again as the chorus completes and we're back into another verse. I was wondering how it would feel at the end... and it's perfect. Off to watch the video now :)

Summer In The Wind was written by me and recorded by the Ninja Broilers (myself and my sister). It is dedicated to our mum. A song of sad goodbyes and new beginnings.
This is one of our first "international collaborations" - so the production…

Excellent songwriting
Great song Roger!
The summer of 2020 was a real challenge but we’all got creative
Strong emotions here. Captures our crazy COVID times perfectly
Great reflection of what we're all feeling. It's been the summer of simple pleasures.
I love that 12 string sound!
Beautiful song. The pauses offer striking clarity.
The sparseness and the lyrics work terrifically to set the mood. Nice job.
A good old foot tapper and not naff at all
Nice one Roger. NOT naff at all!

Rita and I both enjoyed the video. We especially liked “the good wife” singing back up. I have to say the ending really got our attention.
Sounds like most of the evenings I have out or in .... liking the trippy vibe too
Love the feel of this one. Kinda trippy. It's got a Mamas and Papas vibe to it.
