Fran is awesome, as usual. You're alright I guess. Nah, just jumping on Greg's pick-on-you band wagon. This is great stuff. Going in for a second helping!
I love hearing her sing -- she's so good at it. I totally dig the tempo, the rhythm, the pauses, the picking, everything. This recording is full of style and class. A fabulous job, y'all!
If you'd been putting out songs like this in the late '50s and early '60s, during the "British Invasion," and when the market was wide-open, you'd been at least as rich and famous as Eric Burdon of the Animals. You're a master at this style. I love it!
The effects on the voice is particularly cool in this mix down -- just how I would imagine an android would sound, although I must concur with Mark -- not "too" sexy... just sexy enough! :P ;)
My wife Rita mentioned that she had not heard my dulcimer on any music recently, so I tuned it up and wrote First Morning Light. A little Low D Irish Whistle flavored it just a bit.

I wrote this song about my father and Dementia/Alzheimer's over a year and a half ago. We just finished the song and video, kind of surreal because Dad is in a nursing…

And here we go - Edith FINALLY gets it...
Actually, she's been getting it ever since I wrote it on the 29th May. I thought it would take a week or so, but it proved to be more of a fight than I was expecting.

Pop-rock song. Recorded 2009.
I wrote this several years earlier and rehearsed it with the last band I was in.
The recording was my first "serious" project on my Boss MBR, I was stunned that you could do something like this on a little silver…
Do love a golden oldie, great song, as I record on a Boss, we love Mr. Boss : ) And yes could be on any Family album ..... are you sure you're not Roger .....
I left my home in paradise when warning signs begun
With a member of my aging family
I left behind the trees so tall they almost blocked the Sun
And a lake so big it looked just like the sea
The wind blows cold through paradise in winter…
We got motivated to write something a bit light hearted about our Covid-19 Times.... I hope you'll laugh and sing along with Roger , Colleen, Greg and Steve on this one... any maybe raise a glass of your personal moonshine!!!

A simple guitar groove. Haven't sat in a coffee shop since before the lockdowns, and I miss the atmosphere and the music! This tune feels to me like sitting in a cafe.
(Every time I think it's done, I end up tweaking it a bit more in Audacity…
Update: Gene offered to improve the Mix on this song! This is that improved version. Thanks so much Gene! You are awesome!!!
I wrote this song earlier this summer, and had played it a few times with Greg Connor, fellow alone toner, and…
This song's going on 32 years old...
Some 12 years older than I was when I wrote it!!
I borrowed the title from one of my favourite madrigals, The Silver Swan by Orlando Gibbons:

It's no good Andrew, your music reminds me so much of Family, I absolutely love it. Having seen them so many times, I'm sorry to say, I'm off to Youtube to catch up on some Chapo ..... but like a good groupie, I'll come back to you. ( hope this don't make tongues wag )
I wrote this song as a way to process some of the feelings of sadness, dismay, anger, fear and love that were brewing inside my heart this past week. I live in Minneapolis, where the terrible killing of George Floyd occurred, and the subsequent…
I was messing about and this came out. Thanks for listening

Once again, a fabulous job of songwriting.
Fran is awesome, as usual. You're alright I guess. Nah, just jumping on Greg's pick-on-you band wagon. This is great stuff. Going in for a second helping!
I love it! Lord have Merscy!
I hear Fran in there saving your ass again. . . . Sorry, I just couldn't help but have a little fun with you this morning.
Sorry, but your Folk song ROCKS! Folk-Rock is as close to Folk as you'll ever get, because everything you do ROCKS! Rock on!
So cool!
You are on a roll lately! Keep on Truckin!
Good one Fran!
Love it!
I believe Fran Harris has earned a right to her own AloneTone account!
My woman loves this one too, especially the line, "...son of a..." ;)
Oh yeah, I meant to mention, those are EXCELLENT lyrics!
I love hearing her sing -- she's so good at it. I totally dig the tempo, the rhythm, the pauses, the picking, everything. This recording is full of style and class. A fabulous job, y'all!
Sweet, lovely one.
I really enjoyed the lyrics. Again, that classic Harris style in the music that I for one so appreciate. My soul-mate digs it too.
Groovy! Fun beat!

The most romantic of all the Android Series. *You old softy!*
The effects on the voice is particularly cool in this mix down -- just how I would imagine an android would sound, although I must concur with Mark -- not "too" sexy... just sexy enough! :P ;)
This is awesome!!! I love that line 'don't forget, I'm made from silicone"

Sorry Colleen, the harmonica was played by my best mate, Dave Underwood, he played on most of my tracks. Mr. Connor supplied the Bass line.
It's no good Andrew, your music reminds me so much of Family, I absolutely love it. Having seen them so many times, I'm sorry to say, I'm off to Youtube to catch up on some Chapo ..... but like a good groupie, I'll come back to you. ( hope this don't make tongues wag )
