My daughter sent me a photo of a really tacky table lamp in the shape of a blue velour covered baboon. Sadly she didn't buy me the lamp so I wrote a tune inspired by it instead.

An ode to forests. The verse lyrics are based on the poem "Aston Hall" by my friend, Natalie Doig.

Well obviously it was meant to be a song but I ran out of time.

I think all of our blues rock (and probably the other ones, too) would be vastly improved if sung by Neil Fallon of Clutch. Here's my sad approximation of his bluesy singing.
