I was listening to Jims beautiful instrumental and it struck a chord ...so here it is Thanks Jim.....
Shadow of a man (Lyrics)
As i look in the water i see a reflection of what i was
i see the strong man who could have done what ever he wants…
The last one for the day....what can i say it had to be done.....
Broken Dreams(Lyrics)
We’ve all had dreams broken
we’ve all wanted the absurd
i dream of being loved again
to hold and not let go
i’ve been waiting for a long time
to try and…
The last one for the day....what can i say it had to be done.....
Broken Dreams(Lyrics)
We’ve all had dreams broken
we’ve all wanted the absurd
i dream of being loved again
to hold and not let go
i’ve been waiting for a long time
to try and…
still raining so the £16 special came out.......
Around & Around (Lyrics)
Now you are my lady and i’ll never understand why you had to runaround with that other man
you know you’d send me crazy you know that i’m not sound when you leave me…
Heres the second Collab i've done with the talented Billy Jack.........
HARD DRIVE HOME
the clouds form
the sun has gone
the rain begins to falls
what was it
what did it i do
what turned our love into stone
what makes me listen to the love songs…
I heard a story in the title so here it is with the excellent guitar by Jim Movement with contact ....hope you enjoy......
The Fisherman and the Wave (Lyrics)
Hush little child go back to sleep
Daddy will be back real soon
Hush little child go…

The instrumental on its own didn't grab me (sorry MTC! It was mighty fine but it didn't move me). But this... wow, not only does it work like this - very well - it makes sense of the original instrumental for me.
Fine FINE work chaps.

This works :-)
I'm still very fond of the original instrumental, so I was a bit worried what might have happened. But no, no need to have worried... this is great. Obviously the focus is on the vocal instead of the fantastic guitars, but I like the contrast in the styles of the two of you. And great lyrics.
Nice work chaps!

Reg, in western Kansas, where I was raised, if a coyote killed a calf, we would put cyanide into it's carcass in hopes that the coyote would return to feed again. That's how you could tell a smart coyote from a dumb one. You would never see the smart one again. The dumb ones would be found next to the carcass.
My point is, if you are in anyway contemplating reuniting with Desiree, remember this story.
[This moves nicely! What is that cool noise right at the very beginning?]

Acoustic tale recorded Christmas 2010.
I wrote it years ago. Even tried rehearsing it with the band I was in at the time. But I couldn't play it properly. It took several weeks of practicing DADGAD (never really used it in anger before) until…
This is a bonus track of sorts for the mock EP It takes a village. I had the verse chord chages around for many years but just until last week the song and lyrics came together really quickly. I thought I heard a band arrangement originally but…
Once upon a time, a man couldn't think of a song to save his life, and then one night it just came together. I miss the cello though. (all recordings are a work in progress)
Yesterday was a misfire because I had the drums misaligned - but Fabrizio came to the rescue and mixed this properly! We hope you enjoy our collaboration!

Barry Morse organized a fantastic multimedia Happening for John Cage’s 100th birthday at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Krannert Art Museum. I took time lapse video and recorded audio from my vantage point. Presented here was a moment…
