Reg has been searching the internet again he reads one article and believes it till he reads the next one that disagrees with it... now he's not sure on any of it ......
Fabricated Rubbish ?
Problems with no sleeping…
Getting lost in the maze from time to time is just part of life
The maze of misfortune
I get one step forward and three steps back
Can’t see where I’m going
Lifes so dark and black
Looking ahead seems stupid and pretty…
Reg decided to go busking down on the subway....
On the subway
Stood on the subway playing my music
As the world rushes by
Lost in a world of my own making
I don’t get washed away in the tide
Its lonely out here where…
Subdued - adjective: quietened and brought under control
poor old Reg has been told again.....
Subdued
Sky burning bright with that jagged blue
She’s Off to bed with that dinnner for two
She read youlike…
Reg has finally sunk down to where he belongs, he feels at home here ......a bit of an experiment with a pawnshop fuzz on the vocal..gives Reg a touch of Tom
in the gutter
I languish in gutter
I’ve said my goodbyes
There Ain’t…
I sat on the toilet watching tik Tok and instagram as a man does when he's doing his business.I just hoped the knock on the door wouldn't happen till I'd finished...and a song came to me ...they come to me in some strange places…

Well the rain has come after such a lovely day yesterday so it must be time for a sad song
Heading to a lonely night
Its been nothing but a lonely day and
I’m heading to a lonely night
Where the darkness creeps and the dangers…

Reg is worrying that the new interest is not interested .....
Are you just messing me around
Theres a danger in your eye
that I keep seeing
I don’t know why or what your fearing
The clock keeps going
It keeps ticking
The sun outside…
That something that summer brings along but we quell it, keep it wrapped up tight inside ....
I've got to ramble on
There must be something the night wants to share with me
It wakes me from my dreams when I’m not unaware
It feels…
Reg got to thinking as he normally does and decided to write a get well soon song for a friend.
We'll be waiting
Its shocking what life can do to you in a heartbeat
It can take away everything that you have
It can make…
For the last couple of months on and off I've been clearing up 30 Acres of old wire entwined with twigs barbwire and other shite and haven't had the time or the energy to play guitar at the end of the day. It certainly taught me patience doing…
I wrote this song as one in a series of potential songs to be performed at a friends wedding. I liked this one so much that I modified the lyrics and recorded this version as part of my "Transition" album.
Our big epic number. surely a closer. tried to write words but the organic way the song came about kept me from violating such a sacred thing with something less than stellar. or as organic anyway. every other attempt left me feeling...

This track is from the 1986 Scartaglen album "The Middle Path". The first tune "Jezaig" was composed by Breton musician Gilles Le Bigot. The second tune is one of the "Cantigas de Santa Maria" and is attributed to King Alfonso X of Spain

An unaccompanied song about bedtime. Not a lullaby though. Oh no!
What does anyone think of the 'cat's moustache' line - it seems like that's a make or break call right there and i like it when i read it but it's hard to sing without…

A live studio take, made in San Francisco's "Different Fur Studio"deep in the heart of the "mission district"..a live audience made it a lot of fun!2010
My uncle used to tap his foot and sing "six feet under, six feet under" and my grandmother
would tell him to stop and say it was bad luck, so I made this jam based on his melody.
Well, you are not going to often hear a 70′s metal piece from me. I have to plead affection for genre as it is what I grew up with in my garage band days. In this piece I put to use my stratocaster copy strung up with “Not Even Slinky…
I watched a few episodes of Metalocalypse and Dethklok inspired me to make this jam. I don't think it turned out "metal" enough though. The harmonized sweep arpeggios were the hardest to play. Hope you like it.

One of my heroes. Willie McTell was blind from birth and travelled all over the south in the thirties at a time when many people would never go more than 20 miles from their home.
Plus nobody sings the blues quite like him…
This time paying homage to grandpa. Did I miss any dead folks out this album?
I often stop and think of William
Up on Skinners Ridge
He passed me on his way back down
As I passed from being a kid
A shame you’d say
But aint that the way

This song is sort of about making a clean break, killing off the lead character in your story and burying him along with all his sins before the inevitable happens, and the bad guy gets his. Initially came from a jam with my mate Ben Price who…
You do have a lot of ideas with Mr soul, bring him with you in June, there is plenty of room in the cellar............ like the marriage between the guitars on the solo and the tinkle on the keys....yes....yes indeed

I've played in such a cafe, a long time ago, for a meal/drink, thru the night. Surreal it was; second life. Yeah ...
A dramatisation of events from school.. hope 'Shaun' never hears this, and if he does, that he likes it in someway, and that things turned out alright in the end..

It filled him up
It summed it up
So perfectly
