yeah when I first hear CV's tune I thought some Howlin Wolf or Tom Waits would work well over it, I just don't have the voice for it. Your version takes more of a Dr. John vocal tonality, which I like!

"Castaway of Love" is a song by Brian, one of our guitar players who until now has been shy about sharing his talent. When he told me the title of this song I was expecting a 1920's style megaphone crooner melody, but was happily surprised by…
Here is the latest Coffee Table Recording. We gave ourselves 2 1/2 hours to pick a topic, write the song, and record it. It was GREAT FUN!

One of the other band members found these reel-to-reel recordings of when our band (Sound Sensations Exhibit featuring vocals by Duke "Bubba Blues" Sakon), first was going big in 1967. Old style reel-to-reels sat in his basement for over 40 years…

Some tunes require you to be very lonely, or maybe the loneliness itself needs us to play things of this kind? Clean lines and minimalism: are they confront whether to the joy and exuberance of colorful life, or we need them for to see the joy…

Calling out for his dog"Monty! Monty! Monty??" realising he's not coming back. A cold shiver of loneliness runs through his body, he stands in the light of the dawn on the edge of the wood feeling shaken. Now everything he loved has gone. He put his hand into his pocket takes out his pipe, lights it and considers the Condor moment .........
