I hadn't listen to this one in a while -- it was time to pay it another visit. Still loving it. The lyrics move me.

Just saw your comment about SWEET RAIN. We moved from Palmdale to San Luis Obispo in 1952.

What a fabulous composition. The music is gorgeous and the lyrics are so well written and so powerful. Great delivery, vocally. Nice mix-down job. Marvelous!

I love the Ideas of the Wolves running free, except I feel also for the family's making their living out there. It will remain my hope that the balance will be reached.

I do think that the endorsement of this God fellow is very often taken for granted by many different nations, many different times throughout history....I think he might pipe up and protest one day.....good song ,not just pertinent to old Uncle Sam though.......I mean come on, Jesus is an Englishman ! ;P CJ

I have tos say that I get hacked off at how many of you guit artists get such wonderful tones, nuances and resonances on your acoustics and mine sound as flat as a cow pancake !! Recording is such an art.......this is a delightful piece ....as a mado player I appreciate the mandolin trills ....don't know if you are using the guit or a mando cos it all blends seamlessly.... Cheers Jarvo
