Found this track from 1998 - I'm on a Time kick I guess...
Time waits for no one
We are all adrift
Finding ourselves in space
All Lost
Where is my Home?
Where is my Home?
Where is my Home?
Where is my Home?
Time waits for no…
Hi - thought I'd throw up an older piece today while I have time (doing work at the new house later). This is an improvisation with my Fender Mustang / Roland GR-20 combination retuned on the fly to 9 notes per octave "Sorog" tuning. I think…
I had some fun this afternoon with a bluesy tune - and ran out of time for singing and my vocals are not good - wanna try?
I need to remember to tune my guitars down when I want to sing - that would make my life easier.
No doubt you have heard parts of this before.
Guys - if I could play like this I would not be making a living as a chemist! This is a midi file I ran through pianoteq - I put this together in an hour this morning and I wanted to share before…
my brain on my ex - originates from 1996 - details below.
Dulled
What can I tell you?
I hold nothing inside
My brain aches from lack of....
Direction
I am shriveling up inside
Having not one thing to express
And my feelings are dulled…
No doubt you have heard parts of this before.

The guitar, bass and trap-set are working well together on this. I like it! If that's not enough to make her stay, you are better off without her.
Didn't I already add percussion to this? Yep - that's definately my head banging against the wall in the back-ground.

Love like a salt river washing away
Love's like sunshine evaporate
Love like floating candles blowing away
Watch out for the way you'll compensate
When I've seen all you have to give
When I'm still hungry
I need more than this
Tell me how…
yelyah - “solo piano 20100411” semi live improv
Semi live in that I had an idea of where I wanted to go, but never locked the melody in (as is probably obvious).
Hi Richard - I don't like being bored :-) I also am experimenting with some success with microtonal music as well. Drop by www.notonlymusic.com and www.chrisvaisvil.com some time.
Now.... this is a lovely sensitive piece!
Starting out as a simple and awe inspiring invention, progressing to a more chaotic and demanding machine driven future. - people becoming enslaved to these devices. Feeding the machine.

It's a piece about 4 years old that was my first attempt at using synth voices,, I am still looking for a good one,, if anyone knows.
The music itself is a tone poem, loosely dedicated to a children…
Enjoying a few tracks on this site with Indian flavor lately. My brothers legs were so red from slapping them to get the perc sounds in this track, I had to laugh, That alone was worth doing the song ;)
Enjoy # 92
Spicy percussion provided by Norm

Hi Richard, Thank you for your comments on my sonata 1. I don't play piano as well as I compose. While I will be posting performed piano pieces my Sontas are beyond my playing ability.

On youtube there's a short video clip of guitarist Shawn Lane (R.I.P) executing an extremely difficult chord voicing that requires extensive finger stretching, which Shawn calls "the hardest chord in the world." I altered the chord a little bit…
