My submission for the Woody Project.
I started this jam in A minor then found out it was in C. So I figure I got as close as a guess can get.
I left it as is because it's a jam, and this tune should be jammed 300 million ways.
Enjoy Woody…
This is one of my first alonetone collaborations written by Louis Smit.
Everyone should go listen to some of his tunes. Louis is a very original

Hell this took on a whole new dimension and did not lose the simplicity that I was giving it, in fact the embellishments give the main git and the harp the requisite stark and steaming sound I was after.Great job you guys.

I had another version of this Stan Rogers tune up here before. But I recently decided to invest in some nice plugins for my recording setup (IZotope). I used this tune as a learning project and it came out so much better than what I had before…

It was the last day of RPM and he asked me to write a lullaby for a track called Cornucopia. Very much enjoyed how easily this one flowed. That's my mum, Bee Mathis, adding class to the…

My tribute to Anne Boleyn, the first queen to be publicly executed in England. I used some of the poetry she wrote during her imprisonment in the chorus. An innocent, incomparable woman.
Got a lot of bad news this week and this came out.......
i want to see the sunshine
come out through the pouring rain
i want to see the clouds break
i want to see this day start again

This is a snippet of acoustic guitar recorded a year or so ago which was already loaded with effects. I ran that through paulstretch and came up with this. It created almost orchestral or choral sounds in places.
You've heard the phrase, "fix it in the mix" right? This is my attempt. I am seriously burnt out on RPM. I'm not feeling it anymore. I'm not hearing it anymore. I'm not physically capable of playing well anymore. I recorded the guitar leads…

The first song started for RPM 2014, and the first song finished. The rhythm guitars are a doubled 12-string. The vocals are doubled, when not in harmony. Doubling has become one of the minor themes this year.
I heard the track on Geas's RPM album and thought i would try to add a story to the instrumental...i then sent it over for Geas to mix so here it is...

This is the track I have been looking for, for weeks. I thought it was Hitakk and he assured me it isn't him. So thanks Paul, I absolutely love it.
What I especially love about this track is the underlying American Indian flavour, the backbone of your country after all.
Yay, turned out to be a great fun collab.
Hell yes!
