It aint like no ones done this before
But how can you tire of beautiful chords
In the fifties
In Tenessee
Where my love
was born
Two young men upped and
crossed the yard
both cold cos it was rainin hard.
One of them turned said…
This time paying homage to grandpa. Did I miss any dead folks out this album?
I often stop and think of William
Up on Skinners Ridge
He passed me on his way back down
As I passed from being a kid
A shame you’d say
But aint that the way

This is just another middle of the road pile of trot, this time about the amazing instant classics I write, but am so protective of that I daren't let any of you hear. No one will ever hear them. Sorry, but I'm afraid this shite will just have…
Had a quick spin through all tracks, everyone a winner. Brilliant RPM. Will give more considered listen later. Sorry about previous garbled message - got a bit overexcited!
Another one for the RPM2011 pile. Vocals are a bit shonky so apologies for that. If you don't like the start I would give the ending a try. If you don't like that either, I'm sorry to have wasted your time. The subject matter's self-explanatory…
My take on Gumbo's Keep Your Eye On The Spot, one of many excellent tracks from his RPM2011 album 'Cat's Moustache'. It's something of a departure from the original, though I was trying to retain an element of the gospel so hopefully its soul…

Thank you for being you
No one else would do
Thank you for being you
You're all I ask for
Too many nights alone
tonight I'm coming home
open up the wine cos I'm
gonna be with the one who's shown
Me the ways of old
Women into wives…

3rd one for RPM2011. This is an 'oh you'll never get to heaven' type affair inspired by a beer my mate introduced me too. The song is basically about drinking yourself to death and having one up on the healthy brigade having made a rather spectacular…
This song is sort of about making a clean break, killing off the lead character in your story and burying him along with all his sins before the inevitable happens, and the bad guy gets his. Initially came from a jam with my mate Ben Price who…

A dramatisation of events from school.. hope 'Shaun' never hears this, and if he does, that he likes it in someway, and that things turned out alright in the end..
It was always rainin.
It filled him up
It summed it up
So perfectly
How nothing…

must start logging in before commenting. thems was me. Anyway.. enjoyed everything thus far but kinda glad to hear this one last a bit longer. Gives a bit more chance to get into it.. the others were ending about the time i was in the flow of them.
delivery of it all though is charming.. delicate. like it. tip top
really enjoying this stuff at the moment. So chilled. but not in the slightest bit dull or uninteresting. Exactly the kind of music i feel like at the moment.
Grew out of my frustration at having to sing, play all the instruments, and engineer my own recording...
Baby, Would You Be My Engineer?:
Baby, would you be my engineer
and keep my headphones sounding clear?
I desperately need someone…
Bluegrass banjo, southern rock drums, goofy synths, vocoded chorus, and DnB rhythms. Technically has a NSFW word in the lyrics, but probably not discernable.
Thanks for listening to my album, "Love ZZZV"! This opening track is still my favourite of the nine because it features nothing I'd call a mistake and still leaves me in wonder just as to how I wrote it. The extended, classic tracker-style soloing…
i am a brand new fan of chiptune and one of your very own creation.. as of when I saw your thread on RPM. Something about these sounds make me feel awesome!! Definitely high up in my top five RPMers so far (top actually.. but dont tell anyone else) ;)
one more for the road. and well worth it.. awesome.. again guitar had me hooked straight away. similar in style to the Hot Tuna I was listening to earlier. Really am hitting sack now.
really enjoyin this album so far. First track.. nice and short entices you in. Guitar on the second track is immense and this uns good too. off to bed now cos im SHATTERED. but will be listening to the rest soon!
Let me introduce to you
Every woman child and man
The place I did my growing up
Raised by grandma's hand
I think you'll find
That folks are kind
They're sure to ask you in
Enter the warmth
Close the door
And my story will begin…
Well I been playing the blues for so long
Kinda feel like playing jazz x 2
I dig the random instrumentation.
Play this in eight over three and a half
I been playing the blues for so long, make me feel like tryna rap x 2
I think I'll call…
you tell me what you want
you tell what you need
i cant give you nothing honey
but this pretty little seed
where has the sun gone
and is it gone forever
will it come back someday
should we just give it some time
i ask you what…
This one was inspired by Wen's mom; and is therefore dedicated to all those musicians doing RPM, and all musicians who toil away at home to make their music despite what their friends & co-workers might think of their efforts.
Remastered the levels slightly on 3/4/09.
An attempt at a progressive metal-inspired piece with time signature changes.
Moral of the story: Kind of a demented play on Charlotte's Web - if you give somebody wings and they hate your guts…
What an experience.. glad i had my headphones on for this one. Alot of it would have been lost on my crappy laptop speakers. Nothing obvious here... was literally surprised every couple of seconds. class.

Sounds like Neil Young! Very nice song.
Nice sound, it reminds me of Adrian Belew.

Now with lyrics in the 'about' tab - good idea Tim, cheers!
Really good this. Like a modernised Velvet Underground on Loaded. me like.
by far my favorite out of what you came up with this year Chris. So personal sounding.. really endearing i think.
could have sworn i was logged in.. anyway.. that was me!
that was an unsigned in me!! Great stuff. Fits the mood here right now too. Is good how you do that. :)
Liking your style.
