So this bloody flakey thing is still developing and I have started to play with some vocals. I have also made lots of small changes and changed the rhythm of the middle section completely

Bit long this but stick with it.
Paul is a foreign chap that lives over the road from me in a house that he built with his own hands. He is almost completely deaf and shouts at you when he talks. He is self sufficient and makes most things from…

I'd like to hear more about his theory of where our life-force comes from. Hard to understand what he's saying in this. This is a trip...where is he from original, interesting accent.

I was sitting watching TV and having a strum. decided to plug in my little zoom hand held and this is what I got. Just as it came live with just a tad of delay added

I like a bit of Mr Young and often do a few of his songs at open mike nights etc. this is one recorded as it happened onto a hand held recorder. bit rough round the edges, but so is Neil.
Opened for Hentai Improvising Orchestra at 1919 Hemphill in Fort Worth. A 26 minute piece, I had to edit it down to this because of some nasty noise spikes on the louder bits. So whats left is a very sleepy piece.
This was Week 9's recording, and it was in the key of F. Originally, it was intended to be a "Hippie Jam", i.e. one or two acoustic guitars, drum circle, and lots of chanting and group singing. However, because it was two days before Thanksgiving…
A rather more fundamentally experimental piece with Reichenbach's new *drift* mode. In this mode a probability matrix controls periodic changes in the loop length and/or position.
Once more I am using one of the awesome [Rekkerd mixed bag](http…
What Word came out of a play on 'what word is God' and Jesus is the word (John 1:1). It's a rough demo. I'm going to see if I can flesh it out later on. feedback/suggestions via private message would be greatly appreciated!
All guitars by my good friend Chris Mitchell. I had a chance to record this while I was in Dallas this past Summer. This is a companion piece to my song Secrets from the "Of Sound Mind" album, my RPM 2009 entry.
Lyrics:
I’ve been meaning to get drunk and try to forget you.
Instead, I’m finding new ways to just upset you.
Baby, I just can’t stay in my mind,
Unintended and unsung, just like all the bad bad things I’ve done.
Baby, that’s and old…
We Can Be Forever Young
4:12
So long as our mind receives message
Of beauty and cheer
From man and the big univers above us
So long as we feel like laughing
At small funny things
And look at the anthill with smile on our face

This track is off of the third CD. I had been kicking parts of it around for quite sometime and finally put together a completed piece. Still not sure why I came with the title but I'm sticking to it. Recorded with my Vincent De Francis OM-42…
This track is off the third CD. The title is related to playing style which is centered around tappping. Recorded with my Huss and Dalton MJC in open D tuning
Mostly driven by electronics, most of the people who listened to its demo form said it was too repetitive. After I added the guitar overdubs and the break in the middle, those same people liked it much better.
Comments on ShamPain's stuff
Feel free to play with more vocals. Matter of fact, sing your ___ off. This is outstanding!
Oh happy experimentation! The vox adds so much sweetness!
Oh wow, this is so precious! You have immortalised a character you're obviously very fond of! Amazingly creative. Electricity!
How creative! Great stuff!
Vocals are a nice addition. Like it!
For some reason I seem to have a 10 second lead in to this. Well gives you time for a sip of your tea
Yes, a lot of fun, great music!
