very nice you three,,, an interesting journey on this late, last day of July evening,, well played,, the synth trumpet takes on a life of its own an almost other worldly feeling at times..........
this is a cover done for the french hiphop band, IAM, because although highly political in content, saldy most of what they say is true. - note that the clip was never aired on tv or radio, due to official decision.

Alright!! This is some kickin' tune right here. I wanted to mess with this one when Jarvis first uploaded it. Then Brian Bazeley added this great bass line to it. At that point, I had no choice but to add some more veggies to this stew…

Abakua refers to a secret, Afro-Cuban, male society of percussionists - as I understand it, one had to be initiated into this society before they would be taught how to play percussion in their style. One of their hallmarks is to impose what I…
Mark Bradley sent me something to work on...it started out as one song then changed into two separate songs...Running To Exile is built around what Mark sent me and we are both happy with what i came up with.........
Backyard Ghost sent me something to work on...i added my own touch and arranged it...i sent it to him and he added another of his touches and rearranged it and You've Had My Tears is the end result...we both love this collaboration...expect more…

Dedicated to my sweet wife's loving mother, Millie, who is moving into hospice.
She is a very thoughtful person, centered on peace and justice.
The song has a guitar part that symbolizes her. The quieter echo part is Wally, who passed years ago.
I was just messing around with my new TR-707 drum machine, and one thing lead to another, and I kicked this out. This is something worth working on, I think.
used: TR-707, several Native Instruments soft synths, bass, and vocals.

thank you all! it's more a wink, done under the form of a parody, at some old times and genre from the 19th century, born in Paris; and certainly fun to do!
@ Norm: if you're as bad dancer as me, i feel sorry for her feet :p
@ Richard: actually, no synth used here, only sf2 and FL studio. with a very light mastering.

CROSS-OVER POLYRHYTHMS
This is actually a type of enharmonic polymeter, where 2 rhythms with **different meters** (i.e., a different numbers of beats/measure) are played at the **same tempo**: the measures do not line up each time. These rhythms…
A happy kind of electro pot-pourri.
The process:
- find a sound, noodle in Ab
- find another sound, develop a compatible noodle
- repeat a couple of times
- program a beat
- add replicant
- find other sounds for a B section
- find more sounds…
takes a bit of time to develop, but it keeps getting better and better as it unfolds. 2nd part is really good..(clap sounds too dry, for a piece so bubble-ish)

This is made with a very experimental Reaktor instrument I am building.
It uses a very simple particle collision model with 64 particles in a 100x100 box. When two particles collide they trigger a sampler to play a slice of either of two samples…
nicely disturbing; maybe a tad too linear here and there, but that's certainly due to the formula. - i wonder if this could work with superformula and if so, what would be the output..
This is a special request by Sister.
It's kinda sloppy. Frankly, because I suck at it :)
I'm not much of a cover musician but I gave it hell.
It's mostly analog. MIDI drums, DB33 organ patch,
strat leads, and Ibanez chords, Dean bass…
Please hit "more" — March 01, 2010 — I take a stab at performing a song live on video in several takes. Since this was an improvisation with a couple takes here and there it is not as polished as some may like.

Comments on Alister Flint's stuff
Vaisvil's comment is dead on. A most excellent experiment!
Ooh, love those spicy flavours!
excellent - sounds like dreamtime. I love it.
all in all, it's enchantingly delightful. There's a lot happening.
;)

Yes - I love it. Goes in my night driving folder.
we thank you all for listening, it was really a fun collab to do and i guess, it shows through the music :)
so dope!!! reminds me of my trip to Israel @ rave party (after hours it is)
cool colab. Really like the scattered samples and trumpet(?) placed here and there
Captivating. I hope you fellas do a few more of these.
Great idea, great execution! I'll definitely be looking out for more of this.
Had to listen a few times to catch it all. Very cool, i like the horns and how the beat pulls the song in and out.

this is soooo cool! i hope you guys will make more of these!
quite a unique blend of prog rock and TD-like new-age, something of Stratosfear..
well thank you all! :)
that's sooooo voodoo! technique's great yes, but the vibe is simply excellent! and your timing is just getting better and better O_o
excellent balance between the 2 (almost) opposite moods..
what a pleasant surprise! i wasn't expecting this at all, but this is reeeeally good..
ouch dang! too short! :/
excellent, and i agree with C.Decato, it has this Jimmy Page feel..
very nice composition, quite moving. i'm less convinced by the vocals though, probably too much reverb, or not enough damping..
very solid fundations, but it feels rapidly circling around. it might be missing something to finalize this and make a really good tune!
ahahah, this is good! is it desecration or desacralization, though? ;)

they wrote this, that's already a good start no? makes people wonder, just as you did..

good idea to dig this one out! aside the clean and detailed prod, there's so much going on, in less than 3mins, excellent collab!

sometimes, sacrilege is a blessing.. - great rock and pretty good vocals!
quite dreamy, both the tune and the video. didn't know you were a sax player as well..
