Just posted a remix of this one - I was never happy with the old one and couldn't figure out why...
I finally did yesterday - the vocals were mixed too loud!
So I lowered the vox and took some bottom end off the band (thanx Stoman - You were right!)

A fantastic, brilliant, colorful, delicious, epic composition! This is one of those one-in-a-million exceptional bit of songwriting. I'm impressed. A lot of mojo happening here. Take a bow, cause I'm standing and applauding this one -- FABULOUS! 5 STARS!
Started out by recording a single tone on the guitar and sampled other recordings on the loop. If you listen carefully you can hear the tone repeat itself for 420 times

Just a run through in the cellar that turned out pretty cool til the end. I lost my way on the mandolin. The bass track was laid down later. Bless him for trying keep up with the trash I played at the end.
I'm not really sure what the lyrics mean, but I was happy that it would somewhat fit a long the other noises.
This track is the result of an experiment recording different drum sets on top of each other.

Oh, yes, the new version sounds even better. The bass still sticks out a little on some notes, but overall it sounds great.
