New one from me. It's ended up as a bit of a "crying into yer beer at Bob's Country Bunker" sort of song lol...
I've been sat on these lyrics in some form or another for absolutely years. I first wrote them one very dark night a few years after…

Your best song so far - IMO. And all the others were great too. But this one has that wonderful blues-gospel feel that grips you from the very first note.
I'll listen to this song a lot more times, no doubt about that.
This is a collaboration with a prolific chap called James Higgins (oldrottenhead on songcrafters.org), based on an instrumental of mine from a couple of years ago: http://alonetone.com/andyr/tracks/muletide

Did this one sometime in 2009 on a Boss MBR. I'd recently joined what became Songcrafters.org and PJ (Wiley) posted a bass/drum track for us ubiquitous blues guitarists to solo over.
I decided to go a different route…
Thanks Andrew. Glad you enjoyed the album. I was pretty happy with it for my first RPM and my first real dabble into that style of playing. I will be swinging back by to check out your tracks!

This is a good song played well, and I really dig your gritty vocals! I'll have to post some of my blues stuff. It's not much different than what you're doing
A few months back we had a "Beatlesfest" on songcrafters.org.
I contributed this and Yesterday.
This one's a bit of a departure for me. Not the song itself - it's been one of my favourites ever since I was tiny (I preferred Robin Gibb's…

One of my two contributions to a "Beatlesfest" we had over on songcrafters.org a few months back.
I still can't believe I covered this... having done it though, it feels like nothing is sacred. And, more worryingly, I feel I might possibly…

In the dark of night
everything can sometimes look bizarre
somebody somewhere is in trouble
somebody is having thoughts…
Geas sent me this great backer over ..... Elvis had been lounging around the cellar for days bored but this one sparked his interest and he thought he'd have a shot at this one....i got Les out to try the solo...cheers Geas

A tune for Halloween.
I wanted to do something creepy. It works.
All Alone
I turn your knob
and throw Spot a bone
I palm your panties
when your not home
I turn the lights off
and cut your phone
I feel your fears
when you all…
Aww, this is mighty fine.
You're tempting me away from the multi-track things I'm stuck on at the moment... mebbe I should try some 1 guitar 1 voice stuff again.
Two walkie talkies
Pull over the cops
Paid our monthly fees
Then the money stops
Tiny makeshift farm
Cabbage, turnip greens
Germans built this barn
Fit for royalty
Tumble in the weeds
Hummingbirds and frogs
Naked bumblebees

This kind of falls into that category

This is one of the many songs going round my head from when I was young. No idea whose version I heard and used to sing along to back then, but it was written by Larry Collins and Alex Harvey.
(EDIT: Done some research. It was Dottie West's…
Ah! Tanya Tucker - that was the name!!
And, er, DAW? What DAW?! No DAWs in use here! lol
I usually synch vocals by singing them again until they're right... We didn't really have that luxury, though - in the end I've got quite fond of the "rough and ready" vibe on it (it did bug me at first!)
Reg is spending too much time in the cellar watching the news on TV, reading the papers and conspiracy theories on the internet. He's started to get Paranoid…he's come up with his own conspiracy theory…i keep telling him he's just paranoid…
It seems i haven't had a moment ...life is very busy when you have a baby that doesn't want to sleep, i have found........I had a little time tonight to mess about and i came up with a little tune, then i saw this word "Bastardized" and thought…
Comments on Andrew Russe's stuff
Great, great song. The slide is perfect. Love the soulful vocal delivery.

Cool version
Ha ha! Excellent guys
Oh yes, both rock AND roll.
This kinda crept up on me while I was listening to it in the background. Nice one.
Remix? Sounds even better than 1st listen the other day...

Crumbs, I'm gonna have to listen to more of your stuff. I love how you fling tortured guitars at it and it just works.
Wooo! This works - like it. Some tasty guitar playing.
Yep. This is the business.
Oh my goodness! YES!
Oh yes. Very tasty.
Love it!
One of my favourite ever songs. It's actually very difficult to sing this and make it sound believable. You've managed it. Nice one :)
Second time I've listened to this today. It's nothing like what usually grabs me, but I'm kinda drawn to it.... love the sounds on it.
