Hi Brett...it's been a while, I'm tuning in exclusively to catch up on your BRILLIANT music! Starting with this one....AMAZING. Different from your music that I'm familiar with.
Hi Brett! Thanks for checking in. I've been away too long, trying my hand at other art. My fellow Prood members are itching to do some more music, so maybe soon.
I haven't logged in in a while, and I'm pretty excited to go through all of your tracks I haven't heard yet, so you're sure to hear from me soon.
Rock on!
Dude, you've been a roll lately... jam right here. Manic beats in contrast with the car brake synth string sound, and broken up in a nice way by the (whatever that Japanese instrument is called) very cool. Could go for a much longer version!
Act 1 Scene 2 The Long Walk Home - where Fool is walking home from the disco, he debates the world around him as he's walking and dancing to music on his mp3 player then he takes shelter from the rain in a haunted house and meets a ghost, he…
So the music was all you? I'm actually really interested to hear a version without any vocals. Still love this version though, but I don't think the instrumentation really needs much to complement it.
Another collab with Jip, with me adding the vibes, pad of the orient, flute and vocals.
From the original da da da da das before I came up with any lyrics, I wasn't happy with any of the melodies. This is the result of me getting bored with…
Based on a poem by William Sharp that I found while researching my family history.
The poem has been put to music once already, by one Christopher Goldsack, http://www.sundown.pair.com/Sharp/piratepoem.htm but I wanted to put my own little…
This is like, hmm... like talking to a stranger on a train. First, it's nothing about, and then suddenly you discover that you're about to tell your life; or you listen to someone's story, seemingly intricate or simple (and therefore seemed familiar…
The Hammered Dulcimer melody haunted me for weeks, but it didn't come together until Jamie played drums on it. Takes a long time to pay off, but I hope if you hang with it, you'll dig where it gets too.
in bed - cant sleep
go downstairs to pour a drink
the acs out, its hot as shit
but you learn to get used to it
since you left, its been hard
leavin early from parties and bars
you wont pick up, you're over it
its been a while, im used to it…
Very cool, Tipu. Bizarre time signature, I love it. This song kind of bounces its way to the end... it almost feels like a single, evolving entity, as opposed to a lot of other songs being an inhabited world.
Comments on Brett Warren's stuff
Such wonderful sounds… I have been gone too long. Well met friend.
A lot of good sounds in this tune. BTW, thanks for listening to my songs. :)
This is perfect ambience!

Great posts recently.. I particularly liked this one!
😎
Fun stuff!
This reminded my of Jungle line by Joni MItchell, though listening to that now they don't sound super similar. Just the feels I guess!
let's go!!
Wow I feel like this could have come straight out of Kate Bush's woodshed
👍🏼
Strangely hypnotic with the repeating note and then the tinkles and wotnot. Works really well for me.
So I'm following a feminine ethereal being through green wisps and flowers and waterfalls...just for a moment, an unbroken world.
Belongs in a road movie, at night, weaving through dark underbelly streets, just because.
Ignoring the surprisingly alluring mental image of you belly dancing, this is a cool mix of intrigue and ambience!
Love this. Moody and ambiguous…back in the day, this would have made a really cool b-side.
hi Warren you asked for this ages ago, here is the full version of suppers ready https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?topic=10708
I would implore you to not quit. Ultimately don't we all make music for ourselves? Strangely beautiful piece!
thanks, man.

thanks, sir
Cool song, guys. Kind of a relentless, intense, thrashing sorta blues. It's almost unnerving how it just keeps crescendo-ing without a release.
There we go. Yep, very badass. I'd like to hear Bjork take a crack at this.
Everybody listen to this now. Thanks.

I like it. It's like Cocteau Twins covering John Lennon. Love the synth flute and the beat. And the overlapping vocals are odd but pleasant, ethereal.
Well done, I love the original, I think you do it justice, and it seems to easily fit with your introspective but optimistic style.
Awesome, love the lead synth and stereo effect when it takes off halfway through.
thanks, reef
Thank you, IOC! Glad ya like it.
kate bush meets depeche mode... cool stuff.
Oh this is good. Does a lot with a little. Subdued-ly funky... fantastic little scratchy beats.
Thanks guys!... Igor, Reg.
Beautiful, pensive yet inquisitive. Love your stuff, sir.
Impressive, love the solo around the 3 min mark. Yyou need to resurrect Bonham and let him cut loose on this!
This is fantastic, sir. Rich, exotic, warm... yeah. All around solid.
Very cool. very very. A strange, half lucid, drift. Good job guys.
Excellent track, AP. The acoustic guitar arrangement really makes this stand out.
