This is a remix of an improvised track I did for our first RPM album. For this new mix, I got rid of the vocals & added a most excellent electric guitar part by our good friend, Chris Mitchell. He listened to the track just once and proceeded…

Left here smilin' but you came back mean
Ain't no need to tell me, I know where you've been
Ya tell me you love me, an' you really care
an' if you just had some more, you'd be happy to share
You came back wantin' once you'd lost in all…

This started as I was finishing off the comment to "I Promise" and I was grabbed immediately by the Didgeriedoo like sound ....which ,hey I presume is a didgeridoo ?
I have one of those which I can drone ,but I am buggered if I can get the hang of circular breathing....hey the production on this is excellent at about 05:00 the tinklesa and then the hand drums (sorry I am shite when it comes to id'ing various ethnic and "primitive" drums)The talking in the background really works quite well.Ah there they go ,clearing off ...and in comes another...the background chirping at the transition and then a bit more reminds me of living in Singapore and the variety of night time noises that serensded you to sleep....or frigging well kept you awake depending on the time of year and how loud they were !
Ar these your percussion sounds...you must sharethe same playroom as Norm ....cool beats and rhythms .....At ten minutes I have hit the download button this is a definite keeper......this is almost soporiphic, and I mean that in a good way at about 12:00 plus i am almost more chilled than I have been for a little while ....nearly nodding off....nice little rhythm and echo set up going on here....we seem to be drawing to the end of this nocturnal journey with the inclusion of some synth swoops and swirls....sunrise ..dawn ..? and a fade ...excellent.
Most fun and enjoyed....sorry about tye blow by blow commenting but I got a little caught up in the moment .See Ya Later

I seem not to have got the hang of replying to comments...so I will tag my answer to your question re "Jumbled Layer"..all instruments were Weltmeister Stella 60 bass Ackordeen I only picked that up in September so am not very good with it yet...Squier Strat,Vintage 6 string Banjo (which is a nightmare to keep in tune ) and triangle played on the yammy keyboard...the only "fake" instrument.....as I type this out in my single simple fingered way I been listening to" I Promise"....very soothing and restful....some really nice improv going on ...the guitar fiddle has a smooth and mellow voice...great stuff......

This one is for all of you intrepid audio explorers out there: our latest experimental improv featuring Treefrog on electrified cigar box & washboard... Definitely not for the faint of heart!

Nicely done sirrah...now I remember why it is that I came back by here again ....the juxtaposition of the bass drum with the jazzy high tones are spot on and make an atmospheric blend....that guitar is how I like it...understated ,simpl sounding single notes strung out to their extremeties....NOT a simple technique....great first tune to come back to...
Cheers Jarvoid
Cave Street posted a track recently, their contribution to the Woody Guthrie Project, organised by Akron Family.

I wanted to take a shot at this too, so here's my demo. It was really just half…
Excellent version! Did you send it in to the Akron/Family? For anyone who is interested, my version is [here](http://alonetone.com/cavestreet/tracks/woody-guthries-america). The web page where the various versions are being posted is [here](http://akronfamily.com/woodyproject/Splash.html).
This is a filler piece for this cool new CD I'm working on. I got this Clint movie thing working pretty good :) Think of it as our hero horsebackin' it across the plains in the land of the big sky.
I think the piano has a bit of Robert Nichols…
Hi folks,
It's good to back after RPM and the blackout of 2010.
A couple firsts here. I recorded this 100% with the computer. I never plugged in to a computer before.
I've always used a Roland VS machine and burnt my
songs/tracks to SCSI…
Post RPM jammin'. I don't feel much like cleaning up after RPM. Not yet anyway. I think my little Casio took a beaten and went out of tune. I did this arrangement with just the Casio, guitars and
harmonica, hence the annoying piano and strings…
I keep writing songs about communism, for some reason. I thought it was slightly amusing to discover that Mashino actually IS an industrial town. Sounds like "Machine". Get it? Get it??
Featuring Otis Maly on Organ.
Maybe it’s a trick of the light
The way your eyes shine at me
I don’t want to fight and I can’t take flight
Somethin’ tells me I’m gonna see
Just what spell you put on me
I can’t let you out of my sight…

Thanks Dave, props to Otis Maly on that one. He's an amazing local musician who I hope to interest in playing on more Cave Street tunes!
@ minus the hat - the album cover is actually based on a slice of red onion :-)
Earthlings, eh? Well I've never heard them (or of them) but I'm gonna check 'em out straight away!
Thanks for listening!

Very cool....nice feel and ambiance to it
The tones and sub bass kick butt on my 800 watt studio monitors, cool.

Nice improv man!
Ah, nice. Simple, but it takes me places.
Beautiful tone. I could listen all night.
My gosh, you guys are the ad lib kings! Magical guitar tone. Love the brooding percussion also.
Hey, tha,nks for listening! Great song; haunting, and in the beginning it has a bit of a Tool feel.
I like it! I gotta get me an electric cigar box!
smoother than babies bottom........
I love the floating feel this has.
Cheers, Jarvoid!
