Lovely song, and I like the harp in there sort of adds an open prairie feel. Thanks Dave, that's me, "An old classic". I'll be going up in value soon!

This is a piece using 2 keyboards, an M-Audio 88es (vocal choir) and Alesis Q49 (brass choir) in 17 notes per octave. The objective was to use some functional xenharmonic chord progressions. I would be interested in knowing if you perceive the…

one could make any brass instrument to play in any temperament by valve placement and tubing length as far as I know. On the other hand 24 note per octave (and finer divisions) are avalable on wodwind and brass with using alternate fingering. On a recent trip to Urbana for a performance Peter's composition called for french horn playing in harmonic series tuning - but I guess the actual use comes close to 72 equal. The video of that is here: (go to about 16:40 .) http://www.youtube.com/user/clones98#p/u/30/OjY4LwBV8sM

Along with her magnificent harmonizing vocal tracks, Inge sent me one track which was crashed by her 2-year old son Willem. He pretty much takes over the whole operation at about 3:00. In the background you can hear the original rough vocals…

http://i958.photobucket.com/albums/ae64/mtcband/Mobile%20Uploads/th_AWARD.jpg Thank you so much M.T.C. Music award committee for recognizing such a relatively simple acoustic track from such a relatively simple person... (puts hand over mic to ask presenter, "Are you sure I really won this... Did you read the wrong name?")... I'd like to thank my new laptop for not crashing during the 2011 RPM process, and not developing an editing mind of it's own as the last one had. I'd also like to thank time, seeing as how I needed so friggin' much of it to get the fingerpicked portions of this song eventually done right. A big thank you to the inspiration for the songs, my always-ready-to-go-no-matter-how-absurdly-cold-it-is daughters. And a special thank you to my beautiful (and extremely tolerant) wife Kimberly for taking these same terrific daughters off my hands during my February vacation (sorry, Florida, for the pink invasion). Where's the after party!
