I was dreaming one night, and this song came, it was part of what I was going through in the dream. I woke up with the emotion, the words, and the melody still going. Got out of bed (Like 4AM! ugh!) went down to the studio and recorded the melody…
I am completely with you on the "I have to get out of bed RIGHT NOW and capture this" thing, ha! Have to say, if that's how you usually create, then it's working. Great song-writing, wonderfully pro performances from all musicians, and I love your voice! I'm not usually a fan of longer tracks, but you kind of take me along with you, and I want to keep listening. Liking your Indiana Jones avatar also...but that's not important. :-)
Well, hot summer night. Beautiful woman dancing in the moonlight, (the goddesses knew what they were doing, a man doesn't stand a chance against this), knees going weak.... hearts' pounding...head spinning = new song. (Love was already there…

A typical folk song.
Written and recorded in about an hour for the 24 hour album (attempted on March 13th). Excuse roughness and vocal glitches, it was 2am and this was my first full take.
Thanks to montgomeru for his chord suggestions…

Hey Billy. I've been hearing lots of your RPM 2010 album on the Scopes RPM radio. It's awesome. I love the gentle, laid back, comforting sounds. Beautiful acoustics. Great work.
cheers,

Matter Of Fate- This song started as a riff I was doing while tuning my guitar. It sounded cool, so I happened to record it on a small dictation recorder I have so I wouldn’t forget it. When I listened to the riff it just screamed Sticky Fingers…
This recording has been through hell, pretty much like I was when I wrote this: It was recorded written and played by me, on a fostex four track. At the time even true love had let me down, and decided its dreams "for" me were more important than…
This Lovin’ Cup- I was watching the idiot box and just holding my guitar when this little vamp on a B chord came out of nowhere. Using the same recorder, I recorded about 20 seconds of the riff. The lyrical idea came on the trip to Chicago, while…
Gurgling, bubbling, churning.
This is the last track of the March 2010 24 hour challenge.
The process...
- find some interesting synth sounds (have collected many)
- work out some basic chords
- do some filtering
- add two tracks of e-bow…

A happy kind of electro pot-pourri.
The process:
- find a sound, noodle in Ab
- find another sound, develop a compatible noodle
- repeat a couple of times
- program a beat
- add replicant
- find other sounds for a B section
- find more sounds…

PS - Gorgeous Santana vibe! This wouldn't be out of place on his Supernatural album. Very cool song-writing.
Midsummer is a magical time - captured beautifully here by both music and voice. (Bring sun block - Sexy factor 11.)
brilliant! would be fitting to a film like the grocer's son.
Bravo Sudara, sweet song!
Excellent! It has the feel of Dylan's It Ain't Me Babe. Awesome voice.
superb lyrics.
Really like the vocals. They sound really good! The acoustic is beautiful too! Great track man!

OMG! This is Superb!!! Faved!
I love this. Wow!
Great song, and I love the guitar solo
I dig all of these. A fantastic 24 hour effort. And I second what Kirk said, I want to be a fly on the wall in your studio! :)
Oh, just read when i clicked the send button already, someone said Rundgreen :-) Yes, that is a far better comparison!
Love the vocal harmonies on this track, and the guitar riff as well ( no, it is not stones, it is more enjoyable)
The most charming breakdown ever :-)
To paraphrase Sister: *Waves glowstick side to side*
Retrohappytastic with maybe a little bitterretrosweet also.
