An improv with Phil (drums). Added synth later. At the end you hear the giddy laughter of two musicians who just had a real good time!

The title was partly inspired by Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, partly inspired by the circus sound it has.

the phrase "on thatch, on leaves, on tin, on willow" is from the book "A House in Bali" by Colin McPhee Originally for RPM '07 album. It might drag on a bit long.

White Light was written in June along with 10 other "Off the cuff" tunes. Just before the great flood in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Our house was flooded and slowly being rebuilt. This is 4th of the 10 to be recorded.

Mr Glu I like your little ditty. I think it has a lot of promise. The one thing that I believe it needs is a "B" part. You are basically playing the same chord progression over and over again. Not too bad since it's only 2:29 long but a B part would help. I don't know what key its in but lets just say its G. Your B part should be in some other rel chord starting in C or D and progress for 8 or so bars somewhere in the middle of the tune. Just to mix it up. I hope this is what your looking for.

I composed this track as a demo of my sampling project "The First Bulgarian Virtual Choir" some time ago... I invited the famous folk singer Katia Georgieva to perform the live lead vocal. www.audiogrocery.com

The image of cherry blossoms folding into a gravel footpath is from a poem by Kanoko Okamoto. Originally from RPM '07 album, this version has been reworked a fair bit.
