Man this is incredible. The off kilter feeling of the music belies the deeply personal lyrics. Like being in a funhouse with a slanted floor, but someone is crying in the distance.

Nice one - move over Serge Gainsbourg & Jacques Brel! I wish I could speak French - I love Francoise Hardy, Michel Polnareff and France Gal, l but I can't understand a bloody word!

You really want to get there, but you just can't find it, but the ride is entertaining. I'm rewriting the lyrics. It's not quite oblique enough, or so I'm told.

Hope this isn't about my driving. We don't have a hell of a lot of oblique shit in Anchortown, but sometimes we drive that way.

I read Carla Zilbersmith's blog, carlamuses.blogspot.com, which inspired the song. She's rather inspiring herself.

Lovely melody, stripped down to its essentials. I love the moment when the organ comes in.

not too sure about this one, i was after a thom yorke style tune and the basics were there but i am not a patch on him vocally, ah well.

Love it: absolutely great work. I love the focused randomness of it. the keyboard "solo" at 1:10=beautiful.

That sound on the guitar is great. Almost 40's blues sounding.

Very, very raw demo for our 09 RPM disc. Drums are a click track & unmixed; needs one more guitar track, eq, channel compression, an honest-to-god mix, etc...

This is a great song....What a groove.

another one i always play on the guitar, inspired by Nick Drake's stuff; half way through this song goes into unknown guitar improvisational territory, where i just played over my own stuff after looping it

Oh crap - somebody broke the multiverse. I should have known those #?%! black holes were a serious security flaw. We were really meaning to fix that, but never got around to it. (It would have cut into our golf time.)

A song about the lost art of the mix-tape and knowing that someone is trouble but doing it anyway... Compilation Tapes: Did I mention that I think that you’re a real fine dancer and I like the way you dress? I’ve known a number of girls…
