The song verse is very poetic and lovely. I personally would love to hear it sung as quiet so without the background singing. Also would like to hear it without the twang.
Lets dig up an old one. In another time & space had to come up with a song with the line 'Solar Radiation and a New Pair of Boots' in it. I came up with this little ditty... Blame Steve Krell !!!!!!

The core of the music is heavily inspired by Joni Mitchell. Its been spinning around for years in my head so hearing this song finally recorded feels good.
I once worked for a retail company in the computer industry. One of my fellow buyers took a job at another company, then returned six months later as a salesman for that company. This is a song of how he might have felt returning to the city…
