What a great collection of sounds! A fabulous rhythm section, however you did it. Delightful lyrics. And, as always, delicious job on vocals. Way to go, Greg!

Recorded Last Friday - I sprung this song on Mark Imsdahl while we were playing music together.
I thought he did pretty good for never hearing the song before.
Check out Marks Music here: http://alonetone.com/imsdahl/tracks
I love my mini van, lot's of room. I could try to make it sound cooler by saying I'm using it to lug my gear gig to gig but mostly it just gets the family where they are going. Cheers!

I did this as a way to practice singing....why I am trying to learn to sing at 64 is a little strange.... I wish I had leaned to sing when I was starting out..but I always played in band with lots of singers and never had to sing much…
This lil Hendrix tune has been in my head lately so I decided to take a stab at it. Every time I attempt a cover of one of his songs I discover something new. This time it was his uncanny sense of phrasing and harmony within a blues context. It…
Justin Otter Guy (just another guy) and Gene Eric Mann (generic man) are the same musician. My originals are penned as Gene tunes (alonetone.com/mythopoetica) and my covers are uploaded as Justin tunes (/redshirt).
Always one of my favorite songs. I used to play this in my High School Band.
Ah those were the days . . . I had hair back then. You still do. Maybe that's why you can still play this song.
In 1979, my father came home from the record store with an album that forever changed my life, Pete Seeger's Circles & Seasons. Before I knew Pete to be the blacklisted folk icon that had been on the humanitarian side of every fight since…

This just pulled me right in! You have some GREAT tone on that guitar, and your fingers . . . How do you get them to move so fast?
This was a treat to listen to.
Some time ago whilst YouTubing, I stumbled across several videos of old seafaring songs or sea "shanties". Unbelievably, that triggered some very ancient RAM of elementary school music classes wherein we were taught several of these songs. And…

I'm doing just Fine with Buck Erpestad. Check out Bucks music here:
http://alonetone.com/buck
Here is what Buck said he added:
"So I used the tremolophone (vibes) and tuba sounds in Garageband and played them on the keyboard."
A cover of the Laura Veirs song 'Jailhouse Fire', which originally appeared on her excellent album ' The Triumphs & Travails Of Orphan Mae'. I recorded this in 2008, around the time I started demoing songs for what became 'The Anxiety Bomb'.
A bit of nonsense maybe ?? Started off as an instrumental then these words popped out. Call me lazy if you must, but couldn't think of more !!!
C'est la vie !!!!
This is a Phil Keaggy tune. I swiped his original loop and then built my own thing on top of it. Might have been longer, but my volume swell effect keeps slipping out of sync with everything else. May work on it more at a later date
*"Did you miss that gravy train"*
I love it, although it is a little dark.
You might have to do the next song about puppies or daisies in the field to balance things out. Something with a 2/4 beat should do it.
Whatever wrong could come of mixing a pop-ish song with a bit of rap. I think it came off rather well, except for the fact that I can't rap to save my life. Oh lord, it was so pathetic!

*GOOD SINGING!* I think you have been misleading us all along. *GOOD GAUWD MAN* . . . You got the pipes!
That's pretty darn good. Makes me want to pull out the old harmonica.
Interesting take on a great old song
Lilting melody. I can feel myself on a reach with a gentle breeze.
Always one of my favorite songs. I used to play this in my High School Band. Ah those were the days . . . I had hair back then. You still do. Maybe that's why you can still play this song.
Excellent . . . especially considering our recent weather.
Thanks to another cultural landslide for bringing this song to the foreground. Pete accomplished a lot in 94 years. We're going to miss him.
Eclectic and interesting. It just pull you right in. Nice going James.
This just pulled me right in! You have some GREAT tone on that guitar, and your fingers . . . How do you get them to move so fast? This was a treat to listen to.
I just watched the video . . . You have an impressive banjo, and your presentation is first class.
That's some nice banjo playing! You really brought that old song back to life.
Buck . . . You got me laughing. Very original contribution.
Great Song!
Plenty of fuel for a *"Power Nap"* here!
Ah .... A little bit of a Chuck Berry vibe. I wonder what's on your mind?
I like this lilting style! Your combined vocals are excellent and the tone of that guitar brings it over the top. Very enjoyable.
I like the whistling.
This stopped me in my tracks . . . absolutely beautiful.

Nice song, with interesting sounds complimenting it.
