Very sweet! Simple things really make this song ... like the slightly unexpected (to me, at least) chords at the end of lines 2 & 3, and the way you hold the second-to-last word on the last lines ... those musical choices are perfect.

Good advice! It seems we are both in a reflective mood lately. A solid song, great lyrics, excellent instrumentation and delivery.

That chorus really struck me. Beautiful all the way through. The third verse, in particular, brings out the optimistic view. It’s never too late .
