I don't know how old y'all are, but you're playing the style of Rock I grew up loving, and I'm 54. If y'all are indeed my age, I'm glad arthritis hasn't stopped you yet! Rock the Hell on!
Reminds me of some early Black Sabbath/Deep Purple/Grand Funk Railroad-style "slow jammin'." I dig how y'all synch together. I hope your band much deserved success. But you're aiming at an audience that's mostly a ways over 30 -- today's music buyers want Hip Hop and Industrial. :(
Your keyboardist really is the glue that keeps y'all together. I mean, the guitar is sweet and mean, the bass is steady, the drummer is tight, but that keyboard is happening!
Second song by Martin Fox
Was on a Pete Townshend kick lately. this one came to me as i was listening to the random recordings on my phone. still not happy with the vocal mix. we spent a lot of time tweaking too.
Having wrote a song myself called "Last Night," I had to check out yours. I'm with Greg on the bounce and Fat Burrito on the harmony. Can definitely discern a "The Who" influence, and that's just far out groovy.
Second side opener by Martin fox
This chord progression came to me in a pre-rpm jam and we instantly nailed the feel. The words came easy too. Another five piece number. The words are about my loved ones i have lost and my feelings about our…

First side closer by Kent Good.
This song was recorded our first session of the month. We were playing as a five piece and i really love the sound. This is one of KGs best song to date.
Fourth song by Martin Fox
My first shot at really going for it on vocals. dont know if i quite hit the bullseye. this song is a modern internet love/revenge tale .
Opening song by Kent Good. We played pretty good in Feb. We are not "chops" players, but i think we rocked this one pretty good. This song will evolve a bit as we break it in live.

beatlesy/Whosy.. cheeky little number. Great song. Massively tempting to have a go at a cover. May have to if it doesn't leave my brain voluntarily soon!

Maybe I missed a career scoring for no budget spaghetti westerns, because this is what this reminds me of. Done live a couple weeks ago with the Taylor and a floor full of toys and loopers.

great effort on your RPM! your best work yet in my honest opinion. your vox is getting very good. songs are all quality. hope we have a chance to go for it like this someday.
My cigar box guitar makes its debut.
This seemed a good idea
But you bit more than you can chew
Now that you've sized things up
It's decision time for you
At this critical juncture
It's time for you to choose
We're waiting for your final word…
Another 80's flashback
They say the laws of motion
Don't apply to emotions
But I say check your equation
You may not need so much persuasion
If you want to be the one

You should get your back up off the wall
Some things…

Is it true that he has all the moves?

The theme for Improv Friday this week is "variations". So here's an improv reconstruction of the one classical piece I know, Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring.

I’m just about as lucky as a man can be
I got the voice of an angel that’s guiding me
Once in a while I don’t hear a sound

I remember those times I lost my…

Take me to the sea

All first take improvisations. 8 tracks of madness for your enjoyment. Ear goggles will put you inside this piece. Not recommended for the faint of heart!
Recorded between 9AM - 7PM on the 26th of February.
Featuring Mark Hubbard & Duma, on didj & percussion respectively, this one begins as the most traditionally structured piece on the album. But don't get used to it, it doesn't last long... just enough to ease you into the formlessness…
nice for reading to so far. 5:30 in. relaxing. 10:30 in now . something dark is lurking. mysterious. like the cool sounding "sequencer" pink floydy stuff.
Comments on Dirty Spirits's stuff
Its got the swang of 'dirty dirty' by crazy horse. Which is one of my all time favourites (used to be my ringtone). This is in every way on a par
Then it switches to the perfect world - Love it!
Modern Neil - Awesome!!

This jam has that classic flavor that I just eat up. It would have been a hit at the 1st Woodstock. Hendrix would have wanted to get in on this one.

DIG! Late '60s garage grunge meats mid '80s hardcore punk! Cool lyrics. Groovy music. GREAT FUN -- awesome drum solo! Rock on!

Dig. Sweet picking at the end. I'm DTD about the length - I could have stood a few more seconds of that. It was just getting juicy!

Choice grooves! Would love to hear your sound recorded as a mix-down of multi-trax through something like Cool Edit Pro.
Dig those bass lines!
How many guitar-layers are you using fro this song? Damn, the sound quality is top-notch on this! awesome.
Trippy! Very cool vocals. A colorful, groovy combination of sounds. Tasty and fuzzy -- I dig music I can see, taste and feel. Rock on!
A good side one......
i think you hit it....
lgood start.....
I really like the tempo on this tune. Vocals are spot on and I'm digging the chord progression. Enjoyed!
