This is a Ralph Mctell song , a very underated British singer / songwriter , probably famous for one song , The Streets of London , but in fact wrote many great songs , he wrote this while working on a building site before he was signed by a record…

What a pretty song! I'm guessing you are meaning the Clare in Ireland. I actually spend a few years in Clare, Australia. The song works well for there too. I enjoyed this a lot.
This has probably the least effert i've ever put into a song , i was sat at my computer falling asleep , when i had the urge to sing this beautiful George Harrison song , i could'nt be asked to get up and change guitars , so using my PRS Singlecut…
Superb version.
I found the album in my parents' records when I was 14 or 15. This song almost took me down the "Bob Dylan" route, but I managed to avoid it in the end(!) But it's always been one of my favourites.
It's a difficult one to do justice to... but you've managed it apparently effortlessly :)
I had the music for this for about three months , and the lyrics for about a year , one day i just happened to start singing and playing them together and bingo , this is done live
This was a poem written by a guy called Maverick , i altered it to fit a song stucture , it was done live , with my good friends Tina on bass , and AK on second acousic

This was written as part of a concept album inspired by the work of Pablo Picasso ,Trevor Lewis is a member of Songcrafters music forum , he came up with the idea of writing poems to 12 Picasso paintings , then put them out for people to put music…

This is a live cover of a Ralph Mctell song , telling the story of a coach tour to the seaside town Brighton just before World War 1 , thinking the war would be over in weeks
I thought the only Ralph McTell I knew was Streets of London - turns out I know this one too!
Can't remember the original, but this is a fabulous recording.

I know I don't often do cover versions but I'm doing a whole album of Cockney Rebel songs, never do things by half!! maybe. this is the second song, again, not like the original but based upon ...
I've been messing about with my virtual keyboard this week, in preparation of an amazing collaboration I'll be working on soon :)
Beat and sax are from Mixcraft.
Enjoy! xox
Pretty whores and fat queers
make bicycle parts in a factory
not far from here, and it
doesn't make a difference
if its weird or if its strange
just superficial words
from a long gone age
and I couldn't hold a candle to them
and I wouldn't…
A song about my wife. Recorded 2005.
I'd just taught myself how to play piano (badly).
I'd always wanted to be Freddie Mercury when I was younger... still got a bit of a ways to go.
