Part of a series of songs based on stories written as random memories of a character born around 1870 and his escape from poverty and hardship. This song has no words, but consider the uncertain guitar solo as a reflection of his struggle in…

Rabid Rose
Your thorns,
Wound so deep,
As death.
Bloody'
As sin.
Your blooms,
Slick with your,
Scent,
Crazed my brain,
Drag me in.
Madness in my heart,
Never clear again.
Crazed my brain,
Dragged me in,
Rend my heart,
Never clear again…

A folksy number inspired by the stories my nan told me many moons ago about her uncle Herbie..
Herein lies the story, of a man named Herbie Jones.
Not a million miles away from a man you might have known.
A miner in the twenties, blue scars…
I almost forgot I had this one lying around. Written for (RPM musician and composer extraordinaire) Michelangelo's January challenge, I had to use two random words out of the dictionary... So this little bit of foolishness (using industry and…
Mining the archives a bit. This is an alternate take of my "Jimi Jam" from a couple of years ago. Live to 2 tracks with the Jamman. Really only sounds OK when cranked up loud enough that your eardrums threaten to meet in the middle. LOL!!
I have a series of pieces of the "on the brink" theme.
Try "On the Edge of Chaos" on my page, that is if you ever get over "Gobsmacked".
Nice one

I'm a complete idiot when it comes to all things midi related. Recently got myself a midi keyboard though and came up with this short piece just messing with sounds in Proteus. Really looking forward to the possibilities of combining this sort…

Very romantic start. Sort of islands in the mist with a hint of sadness. Against the sea almost definitely. Whisps of light and shades of hades at the same time. Backwards guitar gives interesting texture, but can be swine to get right.

Good use of sounds in here. Not at all like my usual techno babel. Start brought to mind something primevial and then a soundscape for a scifi horror train in a futuristic fairground ride.

Nice Work! Yes, this is very imaginative and sounds like music written by a depressed Carney.
This would fit nicely in any Tarantino movie. Very imaginative.
Oooo that's colorful. I like the idea. Keep'em coming.
That's a real dandy. Nice production.

Atmospheric and a little creepy. Could work well with a fair tale, or a spooky sequence in a movie. Leigh
Very much the beauty of S&G songs. Stirling stuff.
Between Ag Nik and Elounda - One of the nicest places to look out on in the world. Fabulous piece of music - fits well with the title.
Neat song. Quick fingers. Jealous.
