A reverse take (recorded live at a gig) of a couple of Pink Floyd covers. The amazing Bill Pohl on 2nd guitar. It came out sounding strangely symphonic.
Brilliant. Also serves as a reminder that we shouldn't forget about the "old school" techniques in favour of all the blinkenlights we now have at our disposal.

I love this.
It puts me in mind of an experiment I was thinking about to alternately record & reverse parts so you end up with an interlocking series of forward and reverse sounds. Probably turn into sonic mush but could be kind of fun.
Thanks for the inspiration!

@ Sister: Due to technical issues I would have to post the entire song file, which would be posting cover tunes, which I don't want to do here...trust me, the reversed, edited versions sound better!

This should be the final tune from Nitro's "Wanna Dance" album project. Ruthie's "theme song". I added the slide guitar at the end.
Nitro:Guitar/Drums/vocal
Ruthie:vocals
Tommy:Bass
Charlie:harmonica
Bull: Keys
Rick:Lead G.
Kavin:Lead G.
I'm redoing this one even though I just re did it. With more content and absolutely redoing the vocals. Didn't like how they turned out as much as I wanted them too.

There was this biker bar called The 2500 Club. Just west of Sylvania on Belknap. On a sign outside it says, "The best little biker bar in Texas." Guthrie and Rick and I played there long enough to get to feeling pretty much like family.

As you say Kavin, strangely symphonic, but really cool!
Can we hear the forward take?
Nice one mate this is good.
Your delivery on this is amazing, Kavin.
beautiful melancholy piece
Nice. Like the way it changes up in the middle... a lot.
lovely contrast between the pace of the guitar and the laid back vocal. Great! Reminds me of Nick Drake in lots of ways.
Wonderful sentiments, great guitar, very nice Kavin.
Totally agree with Kirk - great guitar on this! Wonderful chord choices!
Wow- great guitar sounds and love the chord progression

Great lyrics and vocal, love the guitar playing too.
Woot! Great vocal/geetah combo!
Oh Man!!! Super Duper. I dig Christmas songs.
I've heard many guitar players in my 1/2 century on this planet and you rival them all. Very respectable.
Put this one on 9 or so, and I cleared out some ear wax ;) Jammin'.
