A mash/add-on for the Sound-In event this week. Took Glenn Smith's bass piece ("Enter the Ice") from last week, added Shane Cadman's chimes then played some "frozen" guitar over that.

Thanks Kirk, Jarvis. It's an Epiphone mando I borrowed from a friend. I'm supposed to be laying down some tracks for a song, but have gotten sidetracked, experimenting with it ;)
Landry/Garn
When I sent this song off to Jim, he sent back tracks for a second rhythm guitar, lead guitar, and drums. Bass soon followed, and Kavin's slide dropped in nicely. Just thought I'd let y'all have a listen to what came back to me…
Cool. In many ways I like this one better. Not so much ME, and Jim does some lead. Nothing against Norm, but the drums work better here and seem to propel the song more.
Recorded in 2008.
Fuzz guitar through an old DDL into a pitch transposer, recorded in one pass with no edits or overdubs.
Just a minute noodle doodle, really, but it's gonna go somewhere.

Comments on kavin.'s stuff
Experimental and trippy. Picturing some sort of ritual in the desert. All the dissonant chord tones work great.
Great guitar tones and jamm'n.
Sweeeeetttttt....
Interesting project.
Totally personalized cover, I really love it! And many thanks for your latest comment.
Dope Ben Harper sounds and slide playing, awesome cool.
pretty cool Kav!
That's one cool track mate.
Fool for the slide guitar

Yeah what a great track , reso sounds delicious , pure & clear
I love this freaked out track , seriously good
beautiful
Rock on! Very cool. Nice job!
I can see why this has had so many listens , its bloody marvellous
I love rags , this is superb , nicely recorded as well
Oh man, I love that Texan drawl...
Genius arrangement. Wonderful wonderful, bold and wonderful. I'd agree with you, Geas, but my nephew lives in Texas... ;)
I think Kavin is the coolest guy in all of Texas. :)
Great cover, enjoyed it a lot

Love these nylon excursions. Brimming with melodic ideas.
There ye go. Curious title.
Beefheart is alive and well! Like the gtr.
Delicioso!

Yah Joe!
Tantalizing
Plunderphonics? Sampling? Cool.
Nice pickin. Similar in style and tone as Adrian Legg, heard of him?
Do you own the copyright for this song?
Slk really started something! I second Cap's good one!
good morning Roger...ppp
Nice take on the heads!
Some pretty badass pickin' on this one.
This is pretty amazing.
Tasty. I need to check out the rest of the album!
Santana called, wants his bongo player back. Great live track!
Actually quite good Tipu. Much to be said for subtlety and minimalism.
Nice chords and playing.
