An unusual traditional tune from the first Scartaglen album way back in 1984. Going through stuff the other day and ran across the LP and couldn't even remember the tune or having recorded it. I played guitar on this track

Damn, Colin. This album really is outstanding... With respect to your commentary on this song, I have my share of re-tweaked songs that I am now utterly unable to play as well... But none of them are this good.
Oh great track right from the start, Colin! Faved at about 0:30. Love the dialed back vocals... Not that the regular explosive vocals aren't great as well, but what a terrific change of pace! Great choice for an album title as well... Many a independent film would benefit from this song on their soundtracks.
Colin, this newest batch of songs you're posting are just outstanding, particularly regarding your vocals... Just great without a note out of place. My daily dose of new Colin has been and will continue to be a welcome distraction from the day.
