"You gotta put your pencil to the paper. Don't bother with the intricate chords. Hell it doesn't matter if the damned thing doesn't rhyme. Write it down. Run it through. Make some noise." These were actually the first words I wrote when…
Nice, thanks for pointing me to this! Love introspective/recursive songwriting. Love the reference to 29 days this year...I played the artistic license on calling my 2012 track "28 Days"
The title track for this year's RPM album. One mic. Live take. Please forgive the missed notes.

Writing while I drive with voices in my mind
Passed along by friends I’ve never met
Trying to stay alive in one place in time…
A few months back, Jim (MTC) posted an outstanding acoustic track which summoned up a clear-as-day memory from my childhood. The vividness of that memory resulted in this song... Amazing how such significant events in your life (like recognizing…
Another "oldie but goodie" that had never really gotten the love it deserved... The original version came in at over six minutes (and even I recognize in looking back that it was WAY too long).
Written for a friend from days long past working in special needs summer camps... Now she's raising an autistic son, and doing an amazing job of it.
Still, none of it's fair.
I'm loving this album, Keith... Having already heard a few tracks in isolation during the madness of February, the complete picture is stunning. A breezy playist I will return to again and again.

One of the first songs I ever wrote... When we bought our first house, we had a nice big back yard on a 1/3 acre lot... With the train tracks just on the other side of the back fence.

Your vocal is bewitching here and yes, the stripped down arrangement showcases your wonderful lyrics. Perfect delivery...live or otherwise! Class act, Mr Landry.

Had a bad day when I wrote this.
There is a rule I stick by though.
"Divert and sublimate your anger and potentially virulent emotions to creative energy"
So I did..
Picked up the Kay G101 and pressed record on the iPhone voice memo…
So I was locked in the broom-cupboard, checking out some old songs that need recording.
I'd just picked one and then suddenly this thing came out of nowehere. It started with one of those guitarist doodles that other musicians love so much…
This is a beautiful song from Joni Mitchell. My friend had his 50th birthday and this was my gift, I played it live at his party and recorded it later (4-2-2011)in my livingroom.
It's one take, can't mis that if you listen to it all the way…
Oh my, Inge... That soulful voice of yours is just outstanding... Soothing, almost healing. So happy to hear a new track from you! Please, please, please keep them coming.
This song is written by Keith Landry.
He asked me to sing it and off course I wanted that!!
Thank you Keith!
About "Keep It Simple (with Inge)"
Well, I wrote this song as a note to my wife (who makes lists from time to time). I thought…
For our beautiful son Willem, in French Guillaume.
recorded in my livingroom, 16-7-2009.
I called the song Guillaume before because of the beautiful sound.
Since 2012 I changed the title of the song into : Willem.
Because that makes much…
Hi folks - Uncle Paul is back at it after a 4 month hiatus from music.
Sometimes I just have to walk away from it. I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about.
I forced myself through the 2012 RPM Challenge
and quit playing right after…
None of us knows where we'll be tomorrow,
Let alone 2 weeks from this date.
Will I still be in this place?
"It's okay", she says, "I'll definitely call you later."
If I don't go and forget to,
And if I'm still living here.
Can we say we see a…

Great track right from the opening notes. Love the arrangement (that ringing mandolin is perfectly used). A bit more attention to cleanly-hit vocals for the higher notes would have this song radio-ready. GREAT song.
Comments on Keith Landry's stuff

Man, I wish I could make sounds like this. Room-filling. Damn.
Magnificent and truthful songwriting. This is about as good as it gets.
Faved at 0:01. Your signature style is just outstanding, T!
GREAT track, T!
Oh my. Faved at about 0:08.

Oh, what a voice. Heart-melting harmonies through the bridge.
It's hard to believe that it's been a year since I came by to listen to this track. How and why have I deprived myself for so long?
Faved instantly. Great listening.
Verrrrrrry cool. I would love to get into that creative mind to find out how stuff like this is born.
Definitely one of your best. Great clean sound, signature harmonies, radio ready. Outstanding.
Ooooooooh... this is NICE!
I know when to go minimalist and stay out of the way of guitar excellence!
Jim's a genius.
Faved at 0:03.
LOVE that signature Kavin slide!
Damn. How have I missed this playlist for so long?
Faved at 0:08. Perfectly mellow guitar work, with every string perfectly in place.
Outstanding songwriting, performing, and arrangement once again.
