Wow. Nice reel (even if it's named after a lathe -- I am intrigued by the shop-vac idea, though!). All those are really nicely put together and nicely played. Have to get you to play the South Bend next time I'm up there.
Nice, nice. I hope you guys had as much gum making music as the music is fun to listen to!
Archival stuff from my distant past with former bandmates in Scartaglen. A set of traditional Irish tunes. Rescued from a cassette tape done at a concert back in the early 90's. Myself on Uilleann pipes and whistle. Mike dugger on guitar and fiddle…
you read my descriptions and you're still asking me if I know the name of that tune? Haha...I'm pretty sure I got it from you! Galtee Rangers might be one of them...

Man, brings back some nice memories (except for Dugger's snoring)...I always thought you guys had some great arrangements. I miss you playing the pipes, I don't miss me playing the pipes.
Sitting around in my shop a couple of days ago with the Goodall and the Zoom H4N. First time I've really messed with using the internal mics on the H4N in multitrack mode

Just great stuff... I have that tendency from time to time to forget that music is a performance art, and that there's really nothing like live music. Thanks, Kirk, for putting this up!

Named by a friend, there is a little island that appears and disappears with the tide. We go there sometimes in the Great Bay in New Hampshire.

DEEP WITHIN THE HISS, LURKS A SONG!!
what is a novelty song?
It's one that sits in your brain
Without room for another one
What is a novelty song?
well it seaps to our brain
and its there it remains
until it ruins the other songs
Ah…

That must have been one hella lathe. Awesome performance.
I hate autocorrect. Insert "fun" for "gum," I think.
