A moody solo acoustic thing that I came up with playing in a long forgotten tuning. Just got a new Zoom H4N, so this was recorded in my shop sitting at my reedmaking bench may 12 2009
Just an experiment from a while back using multiple delay units. I hated it initially, but after not hearing it for a few months I decided there were enough interesting moments to warrant sharing.
Hi Kirk, thanks for the listen, yes it was wonderful, we had never been there before. I now like to tell friends that visiting Europe for an old guy like me is like going to Disneyland for our kids,, everywhere was fun ,many times just because it was so different,,, again thanks for the listen, i hope winter is not going to slowly or to cold for you,, rik
This is a Phil Keaggy tune. I swiped his original loop and then built my own thing on top of it. Might have been longer, but my volume swell effect keeps slipping out of sync with everything else. May work on it more at a later date

January challenge songwriting fun...
WATER UNDER WATER
So near the surface
So near the end
So near the purpose
Time and again
Just barely breathing
I’ll need you when
I’m floating in the water under water
Holding on loosely
Without letting…
This is the closest I'd get to psychedelic rock, I don't even know what to call this kind of song, to be honest.
Technically this is a redo of an old demo song of mine, but of course things grew in the retelling.
The rock section of the…
This originated as a poem sent to me by Rose Kampton, morning the loss of her father. I turned it into a prayer and put music to it. Then when Brook drowned it became something altogether else.

Ok, this is the full length version, so far, until the new tweaks have been done, but it's a nice reminder of cool things that can come from improv and jamming. Bass (Pete Burke, i.e. myself) and drums (Marty Boot) recorded from a jam to level…
