Another one from back when I was tracking to actual tape. Was going to do a new version at some point, but decided I had lost interest. Sometimes there's no sense in recreating the past! Recorded probably the beginning of 2007
...nice energy here, man. I like the freshness I pick up in much of what you are writing/performing.
Thanks for your interest/comments. Maybe we can colab. on something some time soon.
Peace- kss
A moody solo acoustic thing that I came up with playing in a long forgotten tuning. Just got a new Zoom H4N, so this was recorded in my shop sitting at my reedmaking bench may 12 2009

So, while tinkering in your shop you spy the new H4 sitting there, beckoning. You grab the guitar and spontaneously generate this very pretty thing, to break in the H4. It's another impressive performance! To respond to your question... I plan to be here, at least to listen to the great music. Barriers to recording include all the usual, oceans, stubborn equipment, yada yada. Eventually, there will be more music.
Just one of those passing moods. Just finished today - august 2 2009. I resisted the temptation to try to develop it any further and just let it be what it is
Kirk, thanks so much for your nice comment. I miss hanging out with all my friends that were in this band, but I must admit I miss working Chris Mitchell the most. His guitar playing was top notch & always surprised me in really cool ways. One of the hardest parts about leaving Dallas for Tennessee was ending that musical collaboration that had been ongoing for nearly a decade...
New stuff has been slow in coming for me lately, but I found this lurking on my hard drive from a while back. Frankly don't remember how I did it except that it was all live to 2 tracks and at one point one of my synth patches glitched out on…

I hesitate to upload this, but there are a couple folks around who like this sort of thing. This is an edited down version of a jam I had with myself back at the end of 2007. Live to 2 tracks with the aid of the Jamman. I think it was the first…

Solo acoustic guitar recorded January 2nd 2009. Hope to do a longer more developed version at some point ,but for now just a short version to learn more about using new DAW software.
You know I'm diggin' and scratchin' when I start

my rpm #5,, it will eventually become a part om my themed cd "the dark doll house" a somewhat sad place where memories of childhoods past echo through empty rooms,, the two other pieces thus far in this theme are the 3 mov of my piano sonata…
The story of Elisha and Elijah. We sang this in church this morning. We got my daughter to play a clarinet solo for it. She's only been playing for 5 months, so we're really proud of her and excited to have one more way to "color" our music.
Oh well, nothing like going to a middle school music function to break writers block, all those posters and flare about achievement...
Special thanks to my sons middle school band, The Preston Pumas playing at the end !
The wind roars. The night is pitch-black. The rails wet. Ideal.
I thought it would be harder. Perhaps it is only as hard as one deems it to be.
It approaches. I am terrified, but it needs to be done.

One of the first songs I ever wrote... When we bought our first house, we had a nice big back yard on a 1/3 acre lot... With the train tracks just on the other side of the back fence.

I love this! That 12 string sounds like it's about 40 ft long
I don't know how you do it, but you manage to sound like a BAND and not a guy doing a bunch of overdubs. Faved!
That rocks hard! Dig the guitar work!
Great album altogether Keith!
Nice! You got that affect of 2 instruments on this one as well.
