What happened after too much time on youtube watching live vids of "voodoo chile" Noisy obnoxious and very cathartic for me! Live to 2tracks with the Jamman
A moody solo acoustic thing that I came up with playing in a long forgotten tuning. Just got a new Zoom H4N, so this was recorded in my shop sitting at my reedmaking bench may 12 2009
Something completely different- Uilleann pipes(Irish bagpipes) and synth. I wrote this tune over 20 years ago in the style of traditional Irish slow airs. It was recorded way back in 1991 for an album that's been out of print for over 15 years…

Rough sketch of a proposed dreamy 12 string piece that I couldn't pull off on the 12 string so did this quick electric version with vocal pads. Not sure of the recording quality- sounds OK in my cans and kinda crappy on my monitors. Recorded march…

My Scartaglen CDs are long buried in box in the garage...is that Valencia Harbour? Never the less, damn, that's a great tune, great playing. It almost makes me want a set of pipes again (don't worry, hearing your playing does for my piping desires exactly the same thing that Adagio for Strings does for my desire to write orchestral music...realise I'll never get remotely close to perfection)

Fathers Day on Sunday....
Thought I'd write a song for my son.
Here you go lad...
As the Sun shines....Lyrics
And my boy.....
You Smile so wide as the sun shines.
But you will keep your joy as the clouds try,
to stop our light…
Together with a few guitaresque pieces (some are presented here, "Lettres 'D Amour" or "Mar Adentro" for example), this one was my "swan song" in already so distant 2009.
~Sign Of Hope~
I wanted to see how much "music" I could get out of one chord and four notes. Sorry that it has a sort of cheesy 80s sound at times, but that's when I started playing guitar and it's hard to reprogram your brain. The chord is Bsus2 and the solo…

The time will come and our grand-grand-grandchildren will not know how open and easy we (at least some of us) were. How we was loved, grieve, fought-then-reconciled. ...and again, again.

I want stop this rendezvous
and start again without a word;
I think you must know the true
I´m a fish man blind falling...
For many years I breath the blue
trying to save me from the fang
always one step behind...
I scape every time…

Lovely track! Somehow sad and happy at the same time
Very Nice !
Lovely texture you've created here!
Great cover! Your voice is really suited to this. Beefheart did the original didn't he?
Interesting progression. Dig those eerie ebow lines after about 3 minutes!
